When Spike was snubbed at the 2002 Golden Globe Awards, members of the Bloody Awful Poet Society Yahoo Mailing List took matters into their own hands and created the Gold Spike Awards.

During the summer, BAPSters voted for classic Spike moments for Season 7 of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
