Anthony Stewart Head wurde am 20.02.1954 in Camden/England geboren und wuchs in Hamdon auf. Da seine Mutter Schauspielerin und sein Vater Dokumentarfilmer war, wurde im die Schauspielerei in die Wiege gelegt. Sein Bruder Murray ist in England ein berühmter Musicalstar. Mit 6 Jahren spielte er schon in der Theateraufführung von "Imperator" mit. Anthony besuchte die "London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts". Nach der Schule bekam er eine Menge Engagemants in Musicals wie z.B. "Chess", "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", "Yonadab", "The Rope" usw.

Schon als er noch England war, versuche er Rollen in den USA zu bekommen. Anfangs waren es nur kleinere Nebenrollen wie in der Serie "Bergerac" oder "Spenser". 1992 entschloß er sich schließlich in die USA zu ziehen. Er bekam nun auch größere Rollen und spielte in Werbespots für "Nescafé" mit. 1996 bekam er schließlich die Rolle des Rupert Giles in "Buffy" angeboten. Er solle den Wächter der Jägerin spielen. Er ist seit Anfang an dabei, aber bald werden wir ihn wohl nicht mehr so oft sehen können, da Anthony seine eigene Serie bekommt. Sie wird ebenso wie "Angel" ein Ableger von "Buffy" sein.

Während den Dreharbeiten lebt ASH in Los Angeles. In der drehfreien Zeit ist er mit seiner Familie in seinem Heimatland England zu finden. Sein größtes Hobby ist die Musik. Er spielt Gitarre und Klavier, singt und komponiert. Immer wenn es seine Zeit zuläßt arbeitet er an einem Gothik-Musicals namens "Dark Secrets". Anthony lebt seit 1982 mit Sarah zusammen. Inzwischen haben sie 2 gemeinsame Töchter.

He participates since start on, but soon we will not be able so often to see he probably more, since Anthony gets his own series. He will be just like " Angel " a folder of " Buffy ". During the turning work ASH in Los Angeles lives. In the trick-free time he is to be found with his family in its homeland England. His largest hobby is the music. He plays guitar and piano, sings and composes. Every time his time permits operates it to Gothik musical named " Dark a Secrets ". Anthony lives together since 1982 with Sarah. In the meantime they have 2 common daughters.
