Judgement Episode Guide

Story Line

We're transported to Faith via a nice sweep of the prison. Actually, this was a surprise and a pleasant one at that. There were no clues that we were about to visit Faith. Cut to inside and the jig is pretty much up once you see the glass and phone. Angel sits and waits. Via his eyes, we know someone is coming. Then, she sits and we all know.

Angel picks up the phone and says: "Hey." Faith replies "Hey"

Angel asks:How you doing?" To which Faith replies almost wearily:"Pretty good, I guess. I did sign up for this."

Angel picks up on her weariness and asks: " Regretting the choice?" Faith sighs and responds with: "Bad day. One of the girls in the yard tried to build a rep by throwing down with me. She had low self esteem, and a home-made knife, so..." She trails off. Angel looks to Faith, slightly worried (brilliantly acted by both David and Eliza-subtly all round).

Angel asks tentatively: "Oh. - Is she - you know - alive?" Faith breaks into a smile and replies: "She lives to tell the tale. Took the knife away - and I can't say much for the wrist it came in."

Angel becomes a bit more serious, asking outright: " So you didn't kill her." Faith replies honestly: "I really wanted to." She gives a small pause and adds: "Took a good beating from the guards, too." Angel replies with: "Sorry."

Faith tells him: "Earned worse. Guys like us kind of got it coming." Angel segues with: "I had to sing Barry Manilow."
Faith laughs and says: "You're kidding. " Angel, still deadpan adds: "In front of people." Faith trying not to laugh more, smiles and says: "And here I am talking about my petty little problems." Angel replies with: "Just wanted to give you a little perspective." Faith, curious, asks: "Copa cabana?"

Angel answers: "Mandy. I don't wanna dwell on it." Faith sighs and says: "The road to redemption is a rocky path." Angel concurs with: "That it is." Faith asks seriously: "You think we might make it?" Angel replies: "We might." He then switches gears and asks: "Food getting any better?" Faith settles in for a long conversation, and replies: "You know, it's not that different from what I grew up on. It's a little one note. Eating the same thing every day." Angel states (in deadpan humor): "I wonder what that's like." Faith gets it and replies: "Right..."
Fade out. Scene ends.
