Here's a small selection from my favorites:

I actually have a quote list on my computer, not just for BTVS stuff, but for any intelligent/stupid/entertaining quote I ever come across. Has about 300 or so right now. Let's find my Faith quotes...okay found some. Forgive me, don't have the actual episodes I jacked these from. The numbers are the order they appear in my overall quote list.  If there are quotes without any names afterwards, Faith said it. And yes, I'm neurotic and have a lot of time on my hands. Bugger off.
130. Buffy: Faith, you don’t get it. You killed a man.
Faith: No, you don’t get it. I don’t care!
131. “You wanna feel a connection? It’s just skin. I see…I want…I take…I forget. I could do anything to you right now, and you want me to. I can make you scream. I could make you die.”

No offense, but I hate a lot of those 7th season quotes. There are many and varied reasons for the failure (at least in my eyes) of 7th season. The destruction of the Faith we all know and love being one of them -Those quotes highlight many.
Faith agreeing she 'went evil'? Yeah, right.
And Faith's new 'speak' eg: Is what it is, yo. Since when did Faith say 'yo' at the end of everything?!! Granted, she could've picked it up in prison - but I have the feeling Faith is stronger than that. Did she talk like that in Angel?! I don't think so. I would've remembered that horror.
And...Faith agreeing with Buffy that she's 'slow'. God, I HATED that whole Xander "Buffy is so awesome" speech. *puke* 
There aren't enough words in any language or dictionary to explain how much I hated 7th season Buffy. And not just 'cause I'm a Faith fan btw. The slow destruction of nearly ALL the male characters pissed me off NO end - but the main thing I loathed was the total demonizing of Buffy herself. |
