I was just wondering if any of you are as chilidish as me and still watch cartoons/animated movies. I saw the Shark Tale yesterday and loved it, but a detail i particulary liked was the whole Oscar the Shark Slayer reference to BtVS. I thought it was kind of an acknowledgement to BtVS(show loved by the viewers hated by the reviewers ) _________________ And the road

Never saw it, I love animation in general but I hate computer animated movies, except for anything made by Square. I just get irritated when, for instance, everyone claims that Pixar is so amazing, yet Square has technology far beyond anything Pixar is capable of. That being said, I did hear that Shark Tale was pretty amusing, though. _________________

I think most of us watch cartoons/animated movies. They're not confined to kids.
Animation and cartoons usually have an adult audience too, though. Like say most Marvel animation (X-Men/Spiderman etc) and the themes are often adult even though they're classified as 'childrens TV'
The most recent thing I saw was The Incredibles - which was hysterical. I loved every second of it (sorry Mike - I think Pixar rocks) I didnt see Shark Tale though. It looked kinda lame.
Anyway - don't go around thinking you're childish. I don't know one single adult who doesn't love some sort of animation |

I feel lika an idiot.I think I've never even heard of Square. But honestly I really don't know what your problem with Pixar is. I agree with Ali that Pixar ROCKS!!!

Y'know i had thought it's kind of lame too and i was actually persuaded by a friend of mine to go see it. To be perfectly honest - some things about it are very lame (eg. there are some things that are basically Finding Nemo rip off (vegetarian shark)). Actually what i loved most about this movie were the acrtors who all did amazing voicework.( Robert DeNiro as shark godfather don Lino just blew me away ) _________________ And the road

Square did all the animation for all the Final Fantasy games and movie, as well as Final Flight of the Osiris, which is included in the Animatrix DVD set. _________________
