Since the forums are still kind of empty, I'll start off with introducing myself.

For those who don't know me, I'm Sasha. I'm 22, and I co-run Faith's Solace with my best friend Alison.

Faith is my absolute favorite character in the Buffyverse. She's just so complex and..human. Her character development in the series is amazing as well. For me, she's one of the most fleshed-out characters on the show, despite us not really knowing much about her past.

Anyway, I could go on for ages about how much I love Faith. Razz

I hope you'll all enjoy these forums, and I'm looking forward to meeting some more Faith fans!

Ditto everything you've just said about Faith . . . She's one of my favourite characters. I find her flaws just as interesting as her strength and her screen presence is just amazing! I felt she was an incredible addition to the scoobies.

Hey Vix and Sasha.
I agree with everything ya'll both said about Faith. She brings a certain...energy? I guess that would be the word to the cast. Also with her being such a heavy contrast to Buffy made her much more interesting.
A "Faith the Vampire Slayer" series would be cool, but it won't happen. Laughing

Well... hey!

I think Sas you kinda summed her up quite well and maybe more discussion can happen about why we all love Faith in the future.

As for a FtVS...I don't know it would be great to see a series dedicated to Faith, but in the end would the sort of mystery surrounding Faith be destroyed and the series destroy all that we love about her. These are my doubts... and part why i dont want to see a FtVS series.

For now im content with Tru and looking forward to more movies!

Eliza dushku, of late, has become my biggest obsession. And Faith is such an awesome character...*sighs*, but like Sasha said we could go on for days about her. My other obsessions have been Holly Marie Combs and Charisma Carpenter, and basically almost all the women of charmed & buffy.

(Footnote...I'm not wiccan...I don't really have a religion.)

Hi, all. My name's Jeff and I'm a relative newbie to the Buffyverse, having just picked up on it this year with Angel's final season. But, thanks to the miracle of DVD, I'm almost completely caught up on both shows.

My favorite character is by far Faith (and, consequently, my favorite actor is Ms. Dushku--funny that). I just love her dynamicism and the fire she has, plus the whole evil-and-back-again thing is really cool.

...Okay, okay, she's really hot too. There, I said it.

Non-Buffy news...I go to college at Old Dominion here in Norfolk, VA, studying Communication. I might go into sportscasting when I'm done, but I've recently started writing and drawing comic books again, so that's a door that's re-opened for me.

In fact, I'm trying to start a Faith spin-off comic book (purely fan fiction at this point, though it will follow the canon as closely as I can), so if anyone's interested and wants to know more, let me know.

Well, I'm Kate, and I'm sixteen years old. And it never really hit me what Faith was until Buffy the Vampire Slayer was all over... and I thought to myself, isn't that ironic.,

I can indentify with alot of Faith's problems, because in a way, I am her, though I don't have the weight of being a Slayer on my shoulders, trust me.

I like Faith, a lot, and I like this website. I have read some Faith fanfictions and lots of Tara/Willow fanfictions. I think I am going to write a fiction myself some day, but I don't know yet what it will be about...
