Warning: Spoiler-ish talk about episodes that aired this week and ones that are upcoming.

Ok, I'll be skipping my one-line opinions on Angel until Wednesday, which is the day I usually do it anyway. Consider this a quick rant that I needed to shoot off.

Angel is moving to Sunday - bad move.

I now believe that the WB is truly trying to kill a Joss creation. This is just vindictive.

As I posted in the News Bites, AtS is moving to Sundays at 9PM, with "Charmed" as the lead-in at 8PM. Sundays could prove to be the death nail of the series.

The WB is following it's history of the last year by moving Angel once again. First it was on Tuesdays with Buffy as it's lead-in. Then Buffy moved to UPN. So the frog moved it to Mondays, with 7th Heaven as it's lead-in. Bad, bad move going from a preachy family show to a goth drama. That's just horrible placement. After that, they decided to put Angel re-runs on Thursdays to see if there was an audience for it in the Friends hour. Of course there wasn't. So what do they do? After 2 weeks, they scrap the idea. Now comes the news that it's moving from Mondays to Sundays.

With all this moving around, you would think the WB would be concerned about confusing the audience. It doesn't really look like they are, and that's what bothers me. If they really didn't want to keep Angel, why have they done so? Is it just so UPN doesn't get it? I answer that with a speculative, but almost emphatic YES. It's the only reason I can come up with. No program has been moved around on the WB as much as AtS has in the last year. It's almost as if Warner Bros is trying to sabotage the series, and I wouldn't put it past the network brass to do that. Especially after the whole Whedon vs. The Network news we received last year.

Just give it to UPN already. At least you know *they'll* treat it right. Hey, and Boreanaz could always use a new rolex.

Rant Over.

Another rant on Wednesday.
