SMG at MTV

Ok, the MTV Movie Awards are always lame. I think we can agree with this obvious statement. But Jack Black and Sarah Michelle Geller were excellent. Maybe the best hosts in the ceremony's history.

Oh yeah....and the White Stripes rule. 'Nuff said.

What are some of the lesbians smoking?

Do you know how silly it is to make a sexual preference your entire life's being? That's what some lesbians do. And it only proves it with all the negative reaction Tara's death has gotten since it happened. They say Mutant Enemy fell into the lesbian cliche. I say....get a life.

Let's not forget this, ladies - Joss Whedon is one of the only producers on television to make a lesbian storyline NOT be the center of attention - to make it be a regular everyday sexual preference - to not make it out to be such a big deal. Remember that while you keep pissing off the majority of the population in this country with all your feminist complaining. Whedon had a lesbian relationship on TV that wasn't ABOUT lesbianism, but about LOVE. Get it through your heads.

Jenny Calender died just as Giles was making up with her. What's the difference between Jenny's death and Tara's death? Both were recurring characters who weren't major cast. Both of their worlds revolved around a major cast member (Jenny to Giles, Tara to Willow), and both were killed by bad guys (Angelus and Warren, respectively). So what's the difference?

RIGHT. Tara was a lesbian.

Well, get over it. Being homosexual isn't your life. It's what you do in the privacy of your home. I don't go around shouting "I'M STRAIGHT!" flamboyantly loud, why do you?

Get over yourselves. I have no problem with gays and lesbians as long as they start treating people as equals. It's funny, that's what they want from us....and then they shout whenever we (i.e - Joss, for example) give them great publicity with a loving recurring character. It's funny to me that they can be so clueless.

Rant over.
