Pairing: Faith/Willow

Summary: Faith is unwittingly let out of jail by the council and Willow helps her get through her problems.
The train pulled into the station at a little past eleven and four people stepped off. Among them a girl, no different from anyone else. Dirty, tired and alone…she was nothing special to anybody. Looking around as if she was coming home after years of being away, she finally made her way from the train station to the nearest motel. No could see her. No one could know she was there.

She would be a run away, if she had had a home to run from.

Willow sat in her bedroom staring blankly at the side of the bed that had lain untouched for far too long. She missed Tara so much it drove her crazy. She missed her more than magic and that was saying something.

It was depressing to be in the house. It was depressing to be alone. Willow got off the bed and went downstairs. Dawn was asleep and Buffy was patrolling. Willow rang Xander, hoping he was still awake.

"Hello?"

"Anya, is Xander in?" Willow asked hopefully.

"Yes, is it important?" Anya asked.

"Ahn." Xander's voice chastised, taking the phone of her. "Will is that you?"

"Xander, are you busy?" Willow asked hopefully.

"Gotta get an early night, got work in the morning. What's up?" He asked.

"Nothing…nothing, I'm fine. Good night." She put the phone down, wishing she could just call Tara. "Well, guess it's just you and me, self."

She settled into her motel room as she'd done a thousand times before. She looked out from the window at the Sunnydale landscape. Pretty little houses, little shops, and cemeteries. She had missed this town. It wasn't her sort of place, but when she was here, she could almost believe that she belonged here. Belonged to someone.

She knew she couldn't go out, that she should stay indoors away from civilization, but the room made her restless. Her legs ached to walk; it had been a while since she'd been able to do just that.

However, it wasn't a good idea just yet. She needed to wait a couple of hours. Make sure she didn't run into *her*.

Buffy walked though the door and shut it softly behind her. She was surprised to see Willow still awake, watching late night television.

"Couldn't sleep?" She asked Willow before sitting next to her.

"Oh…no. Just needed some company." Willow said, not taking her eyes off the TV.

"Great company you're keeping these days, Will." Buffy said to her best friend.

"Yeah…I'm gonna take a walk now." Willow said, listlessly. Buffy frowned as she watched Willow walk to the door.

"Now?" Buffy asked. "But it's dangerous…and very late."

"I'll be okay." Willow said. She had already put a stake in her pocket, ready to leave as soon as Buffy got back.

She just couldn't be in that house any longer.

"Will, you're not going to…"

"No." Willow said firmly. "I'm not. I told you I was done with that."

"Okay, I was just checking." Buffy said, backing off.

Willow turned and left without another word.

It was time. She grabbed a stake, placing it in the waistline of her pants. She shut the door behind her and breathed in the fresh air. She made her way into town, sticking to the shadows. Still couldn't risk being seen.

Everywhere was quiet, not a person to be seen. She scuffed her feet as she walked, not going anywhere in particular. She knew the place so well, but it looked alien. As if lifetimes had passed since her last visit.

Things had definitely changed.

She considered stopping by the houses of people she knew. Just to look…

Bad idea.

Being so close to people she had once cared about hurt. She couldn't even see them. She was doomed to be alone.

"Oh my God."

She spun around, looking for the voice.

"Faith?"

"Willow."

The two girls looked at each other, both shocked and a little horrified to see each other.

"Oh, God, Willow…you can't tell anyone I'm here." Faith said desperately. "I can't explain but…"

"Didn't like jail?" Willow asked sarcastically. "Figured you could just break out, come back and cause trouble."

"I'm not here to…" Faith tried to say.

"And then you tell me not to tell anyone. Do I look stupid to you?" Willow asked, angrily.

"Willow please…let me explain." Faith begged.

Willow almost did. Seeing Faith's eyes brought doubt into the redhead's mind. Faith looked terrified. "I'm not falling for it Faith."

"Then give me a little time. Let me get out of Sunnydale." Faith pleaded.

"Sounds good to me." Willow said.

"Just don't tell anyone yet, please." Faith requested.

"Why? Afraid Buffy's gonna kick your ass back into a coma?" Willow asked nastily.

"No. I just…I can't explain. They're after me. I can't be found." Faith said quickly.

"Who?" Willow asked, showing a little more interest than she would have liked.

"I…I can't explain here. If you're going to tell anyone, I have to leave now." Faith said.

"Explain it to Buffy." Willow suggested, staring to believe Faith really was in trouble.

"God no, she won't listen. Willow, if they find out, I'm dead." Faith said.

Willow studied the slayer's face, trying to see signs of a lie. She found none. "I don't trust you, Faith."

"Yeah, I get that. Just…if you don't wanna hear me out, could you please not tell anyone? If I leave now…will you forget you ever saw me." Faith could tell Willow wasn't going to keep it to herself.

Willow sighed; she'd come out here because she had felt lonely, now here was someone to talk to. Granted, it was the murderous bitch she hated with a passion, but it was someone. And something told her Faith was being serious. "Where are you staying?"

Faith looked a little anxious about telling her but reluctantly said, "same place as last time. Room 8."

"I'll go with you and give you a chance to explain. If you can convince me not to tell Buffy, I won't."

"Serious?" Faith asked, her eyes lighting up.

"Yeah." Willow sighed. This was a bad idea.

Willow didn't mention the state of the motel, but she couldn't help but wince at the place. How people could just live in these places…

Faith showed her into her room and she shut the door behind them.

"Okay, I'm here. What do you have to tell me?" Willow asked.

"You can sit down." Faith offered.

Willow hesitated, before sitting down on the bed.

"I don't know if Buffy explained what happened in LA." Faith said.

"She did."

"Oh, well, I was doing great in jail. Well, not great, but I wasn't itching to get out. I was happy to pay my debt to society. Do it the hard way. I guess the council didn't see it that way. They let me rot for a while, but about two months ago one of the bastards came to see me. He offered me a get out of jail free card."

"And you took it." Willow said, smiling dryly.

"No…I didn't." Faith corrected. "That is, until they said they needed me to take over my old job. They said Buffy had died. It wasn't until later I found out she was still alive."

"I brought her back." Willow told her.

"Oh…cool." Faith said. "Well, anyway, I knew things would get bad if I didn't, so I did. I did it for Buffy. I know I'll never be her, but I wanted to do it for her, if ya know what I mean."

Willow nodded. She had taken over Buffy's responsibilities along with the others. She'd done it all for Buffy.

"So, I got out of jail and they started to threaten me. Treated me more like an assassin than a slayer. When I told them where to go, they told me I'd better do as I was told or they have me killed."

"The council wouldn't do that!" Willow hated them as much as anyone else, but these were the good guys.

"I used to think so too. Anyway, I ran." Faith explained. "I've been running for about two weeks. I managed to get word out I've skipped the country."

"But you came here." Willow interrupted.

"I don't know what possessed me, I really don't. I guess I just feel safe here…" Faith looked away.

"You thought Buffy would protect you?" Willow asked, doubtfully.

"No. Yes. Maybe. She did before, when they tried to kill me."

"Buffy never mentioned…"

"Oh. Well, she did. I went to the police after that." Faith said, wondering how much Buffy did tell them.

"Right. So you came all the way here and you're not even going to tell anyone you're here."

"Buffy will throw me out of town if she sees me here." Faith said. "She won't let me near her friends and family."

"Do you blame her?" Willow asked.

"No." Faith said, shaking her head. "No, I really don't."

"So, why didn't you go to Angel? He'd protect you right?" Willow asked her.

"I didn't want to drag him into it. That's the first place the council would check anyway."

"So you're going to live out the rest of your life in here, on your own, only going out at 2am?"

"Yeah…" Faith realized what Willow was getting at. "I don't know. I don't know what to do."

"You've really changed, you know that?" Willow commented.

"I have?" Faith hoped that was a good thing.

"You never used to be afraid of anything. They're just humans Faith." Willow pointed out.

"You're right. I have changed. It took a lot of strength to go through what I went through. You don't know how hard it is to give something like that up. To look back at all the mistakes you've made. To have no one who understands." Faith walked across the room.

"You'd be surprised." Willow smiled. "I kinda had a magic problem. I almost killed Buffy's sister. I've had to go cold turkey. I lost my girlfriend and now when anything goes wrong, I get blamed. They all think I'm messing with magic again."

"Wow. Sounds tough." Faith said, looking sympathetic.

"I'm dealing." Willow replied. "It's hard, but I have my friends."

"Lucky you." Faith muttered.

Willow suddenly felt guilty. "Let me talk to Buffy, I'll get her to see reason."

"Red, I'm glad you trust me enough to come here, but you're asking Buffy, the one person I really hurt, not only to let me back into her life, but to let me near her friends and family…to help me." Faith sighed. "This was a stupid idea, I should go."

"No, Faith. If they're after you, stay here. If they come for you, Buffy will protect you." Willow insisted.

Faith smiled faintly. Willow actually looked as if she cared about her. "But…"

"I won't tell anyone on one condition." Willow said. "If you get found out, I didn't know."

"Deal." Faith said, smiling at Willow.

"I haven't forgiven you for what you did, but that doesn't mean I won't help you." Willow said. "I'm not a vengeful person"

"I noticed." Faith agreed. "I guess I was right about you."

"Huh?"

"You are pretty amazing." Faith told her. "You got guts and I respect that."

"Thanks." Willow said, standing up. "I better go. You just stay here."

"Will you come back and see me some time?" Faith asked hopefully.

Willow stopped, she really didn't want to come back here, but she felt sorry for her. "No promises."

Two days passed and Willow thought about Faith non-stop. She wanted to tell Buffy but she had promised. She had to wonder why she was keeping Faith's secret. Faith had tried to kill her.

People change. Willow reminded herself that she had forgiven Angel…but that was very different.

But Faith was in some serious trouble now. And it felt good to have a friend who knew what she was going through.

Friend? Since when was Faith a friend?

The phone rang, making Willow jump. She picked it up.

"Hello, Summers residence."

A fake voice spoke. "Willow Rosenberg?"

"Speaking."

"A good, it's you. Just checking." Faith sighed, returning to normal.

"Faith?"

"You alone?" Faith whispered, as if someone would hear her though the phone.

"Yeah. How d'you know I was here?" Willow asked.

"Went for a walk last night, went past Buffy's saw you in you pajamas. It was a long shot, but I figured you might be there tonight. Which you are." Faith explained.

"Yeah, I live here now. I took care of Dawn when Buffy died." Willow said.

"Why, what happened to Joyce?" Faith asked.

"Oh…you don't know. Buffy's mom died." Willow said. There was silence on the other end. "Faith?"

Faith felt sick to hear it. She had wanted Joyce's forgiveness as much as Buffy's. Joyce had taken care of her like a mother. A real mother. "Sorry, Red. I just…didn't know."

"Yeah, well, it was a long time ago." Willow said softly.

"Yeah…"

"You sound kinda…what's up?"

Faith hesitated. "I, uh…something happened. I was kinda hoping we could talk."

"Um, okay. I can come over now if you like." Willow offered.

"That'd be great. Thanks." Faith smiled. She really needed to talk to someone.

"I'll be five minutes." Willow put the phone down and grabbed her coat.

Still unsure why she was doing this, Willow tapped on the door. It opened as if Faith had been waiting, hand on the latch ready.

"Faith?" Willow looked at the slayer with concern. Faith was obviously very nervous. She couldn't stand still and she kept fiddling with her hands.

"Come in." She said. Willow walked in sat on the bed.

"What happened?"

"I…it wasn't my fault." Faith stuttered, anxiously. "The guy…he…"

"Faith." Willow urged when Faith broke off.

"I, uh…the guy was following me. I thought he was a vamp…"

"Not again." Willow said, horrified.

"No! I didn't…" Faith corrected her quickly. "I stopped walking, ready to face him. I knew he wasn't a vampire because he had a cross round his neck. So I went to walk away, but he stopped me. He grabbed my arm and I panicked."

"Why d'you panic?" Willow asked curiously.

Faith looked away. "I just did. The guy was pretty big."

"But human…Faith, you're still a slayer."

"He pushed me into an alley. He touched me and I freaked. I started beating him over and over…I was gonna kill him."

"He tried to rape you?"

"I don't know. I guess. He wasn't exactly asking me on a date." Faith smirked. "When I stop hitting him, I saw him lying there, blood everywhere. God, what I did…"

"You killed him?"

"No. He was alive. Barely. I just…I was going to kill him, Willow." Faith gave Willow a tormented gaze, wishing the redhead would tell her everything was okay. Why would no one ever comfort her when she was like this?

"He was going to rape you, Faith. You did the right thing." Willow said softly.

"But he was human…"

Willow couldn't believe this was the same Faith. "It was self-protection."

"I went too far. What if he dies?" Faith asked.

"One less rapist off the streets." Willow replied.

"It's not that easy. I'm not Buffy. The things I've done…I don't want to do them again. I can't be like that again, ever." Faith confided.

"Ya know, Buffy once told me that she has come close to becoming you…or the old you a lot of times. Even she gets the temptation to go rogue. Don't tell her I said that. She'll kill me."

"But still, imagine you almost got raped and to stop the guy, you used magic. Wouldn't you feel guilty?"

Willow thought about it. "Yeah. I would. But I'd talk it over with my friends and get through it."

"If you hadn't noticed, I have no friends." Faith pointed out.

"Well, you can talk to me." Willow said.

Faith nodded and smiled. "Yeah I can…thanks Red, you don't know what that means to me."

"Well…any time."

"And if you ever wanna talk…" Faith replied. "We do have something in common."

"Yeah, we do." Willow agreed. "I should go. Don't worry about what happened. You got mad, you didn't kill him. The guy deserved it."

"Yeah…I know." Faith said, finally.

"You just call if you need me okay?" Willow asked. Where had that come from? Now they were support buddies? Willow half-smiled and left.

"I'll do that." Faith whispered after her.

Tears rolling down her face, Willow broke into a sprint as she neared the motel. Once again, she had no one to turn to. Even when Buffy was there, she was never *there* and Xander had a whole new life now. She was alone.

But not anymore. Faith was alone too. At least they could keep each other company.

Willow knocked on Faith's door, slightly paranoid Faith may have left. The door opened and Faith's smile dropped when she saw Willow's face.

"What's wrong?" She asked, helping Willow to her usual space on the bed.

"I didn't have anywhere else to go, I'm sorry." Willow said between sobs.

"Hey, don't apologize. Red, come on. What happened?"

"I saw Tara."

"Oh…see her, or bump into her?" Faith asked carefully.

"Bumped into her. I told her I wasn't doing magic anymore…" Willow sniffed back more tears. "She said she didn't trust me."

"It's going to take time. She's just angry, it'll blow over." Faith assured her.

"No, I've ruined everything. I've lost everything. No one trusts me anymore. They can't stand to be around me." Willow said, rubbing her eyes.

"That's not true." Faith sighed. "They love you, especially your girlfriend. They just need time to get over the shock of what happened."

"I've hurt them all so bad." Willow cried. "They hate me."

"Yeah, I know how that feels." Faith murmured. "At least you didn't try and kill them."

"But I almost killed Dawn…and I made our memories disappear and…"

"I get the picture, Red." Faith interrupted. "All in the past. Mistakes. They probably feel guilty for not noticing you had a problem earlier."

"But they did. They knew. They all tried to stop me and I wouldn't listen." Willow looked at Faith. "I can't do this. It's too hard."

"Yes you can." Faith insisted. "You're doing great. No magic. We can both do it. We'll do it together."

Willow sniffed again, not sure of what to think.

"I know I'm no expert on magic, but I know a lot about cold turkey." Faith grinned.

Willow giggled. "We'll do it together. Cold turkey."

"Mmm, sounds delicious." Faith joked.

"You hungry?" Willow asked.

Faith hesitated before nodding. "I'm kinda out of cash."

"How will you afford to stay here?" Willow asked.

"I'll figure something out." Faith sighed. "Not so long ago I would have mugged some guy to pay for everything."

"We'll eat, my treat." Willow said. "Then we'll figure out what to do with you."

"No, it's okay, you don't need to…"

"Come on, I just bored you silly with my stupid problems, it's the least I can do." Willow persisted.

"…Okay, but as soon as I got the cash, I'll pay you back." Faith promised.

"Deal." Willow sighed. "So, what d'you fancy?"

"Pizza." Faith relied. "I love pizza."

"Me too. Good choice. I'll ring 'em from the pay phone." Willow took one look at Faith, before leaving for the phone.

Faith smiled, things were so much better when Willow was there.

Giggling like schoolgirls, both girls sat cross-legged on the bed, talking about things that had happened while they had been apart.

"And no one knew who they were?" Faith asked, trying to stop laughing.

"You should have seen us when we saw a vampire. We flipped out." Willow giggled.

"How did you all get your memories back?" Faith asked.

"Xander trod on the crystal." Willow explained. "Tara remembered everything. I don't think I've ever felt so bad in my life…"

Seeing Willow was slipping back into depression, Faith thought of something funny. "Wanna hear a funny story?"

"Okay." Willow nodded.

"Angel came to visit me right? And he told me he sang karaoke." Faith told her.

"Angel sang karaoke?" Willow smiled at the thought. "I would have paid good money to see that…"

"Makes two of us." Faith grinned.

"Xander summoned a musical demon and the whole of Sunnydale kept singing songs, like a musical. It was so weird."

"Really? Was it a good demon?"

"No…bad demon. He tried to make Buffy dance herself to death, but Spike stopped her."

"Spike…" Faith said. "I met him once. Chip in his head?"

"That's him. He's got the hots for Buffy. Big time." Willow said.

"No way! William the Bloody, killer of two slayers…fancies the slayer?" Faith burst out laughing again.

"I know. He won't leave Buffy alone. It's so cute!" Willow laughed.

"You're cute." Faith said suddenly. She immediately regretted it.

This sudden statement shocked Willow.

"I mean, with your hair like that. It's cute." Faith added.

"Oh, um…thanks." Willow looked awkwardly at Faith.

"Red, I'm sorry…you've got a girlfriend and you wouldn't like me even if you didn't…" Faith apologized.

"No…Faith. I would. I like you. Just not like that. I love Tara." Willow said.

"Yeah…right, sorry." Faith knew she shouldn't feel hurt. There wasn't a chance in hell that Willow would ever like her like that, it just hurt inside to know she'd never have someone like Willow. Ever since she'd had sex with Riley in Buffy's body and heard him say the 'L' word to her, she'd been missing something…

"I better go…" Willow got up and headed for the door.

"No…don't. I'm sorry. I've freaked you out."

"No…it's fine. I'll be back soon, okay?" Willow smiled, before leaving Faith alone again.

"Stupid!" She yelled at herself, banging her fists against the wall.

Willow sat eating at the table, Dawn next to her. Buffy was due back soon, so Willow could retire to her room. She always felt guilty about leaving Dawn on her own.

"Willow?" Dawn called.

Willow looked at her. "Hmm?"

"You didn't hear a word I said, did you?" Dawn asked, sounding a little disappointed.

"I'm sorry Dawn. I was thinking about…" Willow began.

"Tara. It's cool. I was thinking about going upstairs to do my homework. If you need me, just call." Dawn said, taking Willow's plate out for her.

Thinking about Tara…not exactly.

Willow had been thinking about Faith none-stop. She kept picturing what would have happened had she stayed or responded to Faith's compliment.

Would something have happened? Would she want it to?

Buffy walked in, slamming her bag down angrily and walking in the dining room. "You'll never guess who's in town."

"Uh…no, how would I guess? I don't know who's in town. Who is in town?" Willow babbled guiltily.

"The Watcher's Council." Buffy replied.

"Oh no. Why?" Willow asked, suddenly very scared for Faith's life.

"I don't know. They're coming over here in about an hour. I managed to give them excuses." Buffy said. "I need you to keep Dawn upstairs…"

"I have to go." Willow said, jumping up. "I have to go…out. I'm sorry Buffy."

"No, it's fine. I'll get Xander to come over…"

But Willow was out the door before Buffy could finish.

"Yes Sir, the witch is leaving the house. She's going somewhere in a hurry." The man said. "I'll tell the slayer what's going on, you keep track of her."

Willow pounded on the door desperately. She looked around to see if she'd been followed.

Faith answered the door, still half-asleep. Willow pushed past her. "Hello to you too, Red." Faith joked.

"They're here. You have to get out of here, now." Willow cried, grabbing Faith's stuff for her.

"Here? Now? You've seen them?" Faith panicked.

"Buffy told me, she doesn't know why they're here." Willow said. "If you're going to leave you have to go now. If not…Buffy will protect you. You can stay here. You'll never have to run again."

"They're going to kill me." Faith said, sitting on the bed in shock.

"Not if I've got anything to do with it." Willow said firmly. "What are you going to do?"

"I…I don't know."

"Faith snap out of it!" Willow begged. "You need to be strong. You need to be the slayer right now."

"I…can't…"

Willow hit Faith as hard as she could. Faith just gave her an innocent look. Tears rose in her eyes.

"Please, Faith. For me?" Willow pleaded.

Faith nodded. "I'll stay. I'm not leaving again. I have to make things right."

Willow smiled. "We'll go to Buffy, we still have time."

There was a knock at the door. Faith stood up, hesitating.

Willow motioned for her to hide before answering the door. "Buffy…"

"They told me and I didn't believe them. So I chased after you and you led me here." Buffy said.

"Buffy…" Faith stepped forward.

"Shut the fuck up, Faith." Buffy yelled. "Willow, do you know why Faith's here?"

"The Council is after her." Willow tried to explain. "They're trying to kill her."

"Do you know why?" Buffy asked, harshly.

"She ran away from them."

"More like she took out a load of their men after they got her out of jail." Buffy said.

A couple of men in leather jackets appeared behind Buffy. "We're going to take her back to England for rehabilitation." One said.

"They're lying, Red. I swear I didn't…" Faith cried.

Willow looked between her best friend and the only person who had been there for her over the past week. "…Buffy…"

"Willow, you can't trust her. She tried to kill you." Buffy reminded her.

"She's changed." Willow protested.

"She's a manipulator." Buffy said. "What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing. I've been here a few times and she wasn't acting. She opened up to me Buffy and she…" Willow looked at Faith awkwardly.

"I'm falling in love with her." Faith admitted.

Buffy stood there shocked.

"She's tricked your friend. She was planning on using you to protect her, then skip town, killing God knows how many of you on her way out." One of the Council said to Buffy.

"I was not! Willow, you know me. That guy, I cried because I was afraid I'd killed him and he was trying to hurt me. And we talked. I've never talked to anyone like that before. Willow please!" Faith babbled in argument.

"Buffy, I won't let you near her. She's not lying, you're just so blinded by hate you can't see it. You may not trust her, but are you saying you trust the Council?" Willow asked.

"More than her." Buffy replied nastily.

"More than me?" Willow asked.

"You don't know what you're doing." Buffy replied.

"No, I really do." Willow argued. "I dare you to try and stop me."

"I'll do what I have to do to protect my friends and family." Buffy said.

Willow looked at Buffy, an intense feeling rising in her. She was prepared to fight for what she believed in the only way she knew how.

"Willow, no!" Faith jumped in front of Willow. "I'm not worth it. You're doing good. You're gonna win your girlfriend back, remember?"

Willow sighed. "But I won't let them take you."

"Then we'll do it another way. You don't need to use magic." Faith told her.

Buffy was stunned. Doubt crossed her mind, was Faith helping Willow?

"You see, Buffy, she's not the same Faith you remember." Willow said.

"Then we'll do it our way." The two men said, pushing past Buffy.

"No, I don't think so." Buffy said. She moved in front of Faith and Willow. "You gotta get through the slayer first."

"Make that two slayers." Faith said, standing next to Buffy.

"And a seriously pissed off ex-Wiccan." Willow grinned.

"She's a danger…" One man said.

"I'll be the judge of that." Buffy said. "I'll take responsibility for her. You go back to England and I swear, if I ever see you back here for any reason other than to kiss my ass, Faith'll look like an saint compared to me."

The two men backed off reluctantly. "Don't say we didn't warn you."

Faith collapsed to the floor, trying to breathe.

Willow knelt beside her. "Faith? You okay?"

"That was…" She couldn't think of a word to use.

"Right there with ya." Willow grinned.

"I want explanations." Buffy stated. "Now."

Faith and Willow exchanged glances. Willow went to explain.

"From her." Buffy said.

"B, it's a long story."

"I got time." Buffy told her.

Buffy walked out after a tough conversation. She wasn't happy about the arrangement, but she seemed to be convinced Faith had been telling the truth.

Willow remained with Faith for support. They hugged for ages, Faith finally finding the comfort she had always wanted in a girl she had tried to kill not so long ago.

When they finally pulled away from each other, Willow leaned forward and placed her lips on Faith's. It was a short kiss, but Faith felt her stomach do flips in her stomach.

"Thank you." Willow said.

"For what?" Faith asked quietly.

"For not letting me use magic, for being here when I needed a friend, for coming back…pick one." Willow smiled.

"Red, about before, I do love you, I won't take that back, but I know you don't feel the same…"

"Faith, things are going to take time, but I could definitely do with a little of you in my life." Willow explained.

"Huh?" Faith didn't understand.

Willow kissed her again, this time longer. Faith responded and they wrapped their arms around each other, pressing as close to each other as they could.

When they separated, Faith grinned. "Oh…I see."
