Summary: A spoiled rich Slayer and a vampire secretary for an evil law firm meet in a bar one lonely night.

Kennedy sat alone at the club in LA. It was the first club she found. Well, the first lesbian club she found. It wasn't like she had a problem with any old club under normal circumstances. But being a heartbroken dyke, this seemed like the best place to go.

She still remembered Willow's words crystal clear. Shortly after what turned into their hundredth fight that week, "Kennedy, you're special to me… but." Followed by that long pause and awkward look that Kennedy usually found so cute. It was unfair of her to be cute at that time, "I don't think this is going to work."

At first she thought it wasn't happening. No one had ever dumped her, Kennedy was a prize you didn't cast aside. At least everyone else thought so. Kennedy was someone who did the dumping. She got what she wanted, always. She wanted Willow, she got Willow. If anyone was to do the casting aside it was supposed to be her. Not the person fortunate enough to have her.

Of course that was an arrogant train of thought, part of the reason Willow left her. Part of what seemed to be a million reasons Willow left her. Kennedy just had to face it, she was the rebound girl. Willow had lost Tara not long before meeting her. She was scared, lonely, in the midst of an apocalypse and Kennedy made it crystal clear that Willow could have her any time she wanted. So Willow came to her, and once again she got what she wanted. Until the near death experience ended, and they had time to get to know each other without a house full of potentials, and slayers, and friends of slayers, and vampires, and whoever else was in that house during the war with the first.

The problem was that Willow was not Kennedy's rebound. Kennedy meant it when she said she wanted her, that she loved her. She never met anyone like Willow. Strong but soft, beautiful, smart, powerful. Kennedy fell in love, the real thing. The kind that would send her to the ends of the earth for Willow. The kind that did send her to Brazil.

Willow may have never truly belonged to Kennedy, but Kennedy always belonged to Willow. But in the end Willow broke up with her anyway. Gently, because it would kill Willow to be a bitch about it. She is genetically encoded to always be sweet. Either way, in the end Kennedy didn't get what she wanted.

So Kennedy did what any spoiled rich brat who just got dumped by the one girl she ever loved would do. She threw a fit at Willow, called daddy for money, and took the first plane back to the United States. Which took her to LA. She would have boarded for home from there but she arrived too late for a flight. So she did the next best thing. She headed off to a club to drown her sorrows. Granted she was underage, but it is amazing what a little twist of a bouncers arm will do to get them to overlook the ID issue.

So Kennedy sat alone in a bar in LA, drowning her sorrows.

Harmony Kendall walked into the club. She had circled the block a couple times first, to make sure no one was following her. She wasn't sure she was ready to let them know about her "not quite straight" activities. Truth was that at the end of the day, or night, or whatever she didn't know what the proper expression was for a vampire. Either way at the end of it a large part of her preferred the softer sex.

Sure there was Spike, and Harmony so wasn't about to dismiss her sexy blondie bear. Well, before he got a soul and turned into a big jerk. Actually, he was always a big jerk. But regardless he was a sexy jerk. He was also kind of the exception, all things being equal Harmony preferred women. She almost let that out to Fred when she made her comment that most of the people in the bar were straight. Until she saw Fred's reaction, and she was able to cover with the non-vampire excuse. She couldn't believe Fred bought it. To think people said she was stupid.

Considering Harmony's last luck when she tried to make a hookup she probably should have gone home instead of to the club tonight. But she hadn't gotten any in months from anyone, much less a woman.

Then there was the fact she was she was spending all day seeing Fred looking so… scrumptious, and not in the bitable way. Although if Harmony hadn't been off the human blood she would most definitely bite that soft creamy white neck. She so wanted to know what kind of Sexy moans Fred would make if bitten into. However, Fred was also looking scrumptious in the "never knew someone with so little up top and so smart could be so hot and sexy" kind of way. No wonder she had two guys fighting over her.

The vampire looked around, she had to find someone tonight. She couldn't take another night alone. Her own fingers, talented though they were, just weren't doing it anymore. She had a lot of eyes on her, as she should since this was her sexiest dress.

Harmony then turned her eyes over to the bar. Wow, now that was a sexy woman. Although the brunette didn't seem to be noticing her. Why wasn't she noticing her? Harmony was only the sexiest woman in here. What? Was that cow behind the bar hotter? The vamp had to go talk to this girl now. Just to find out what why she wasn't gawking at her. Plus she had to make her start staring seeing as how she was so the sexiest woman in the club. Besides Harmony herself of course.

"Hi!" Kennedy heard someone say next to her. She looked up from her drink and saw a blond girl had moved next to her; a very pretty blond girl. How had the brunette not seen that hotness walk in? The Slayer decided she was more upset about Willow than she thought. "I'm Harmony. You look upset."

"Had a bad week." Kennedy answered.

"Sorry to hear that!" Harmony said. "So what do you do?"

Kennedy blinked for a minute, a little shocked by the quick change of subject.

"Oh I'm…" Kennedy wasn't sure how she was supposed to answer that question, since the truth wasn't an option, but it turned out not to matter as she was abruptly cut off.

"Oh that's interesting." Harmony said. "You come here often?"

"No I am not…" Once again Kennedy didn't get an answer out.

"Wow me to!" Harmony said nodding in what had to be the worst job at pretending to pay attention Kennedy had ever seen. And she had seen it s lot. In fact she had given out a lot of those same performances.

"You going to let me finish a sentence any time today?" Kennedy said half amused, although still half annoyed. This girl was lucky she was cute.

"Wow! That's…" Harmony then stopped, Kennedy figured her answer finally sunk into that ditzy little head. "Oh…" Harmony then blushed, "Sorry."

"Hey I just wanted to know if I was in this conversation." The younger girl said with a small smile.

"I'm umm. Not good at this." The blonde girl said.

"Good at what?"

"Uhmm… talking to people." Harmony said embarrassed.

Kennedy chuckled. She knew she probably should have told her to beat it. But there was something about her ditzyness and awkward social skills that Kennedy was finding endearing. She was also dressed nice, real nice. That dress covered her curves in all the right places, and showed enough to make Kennedy really wonder what was under the rest of it.

Besides, what harm could it do? Kennedy could already tell from the way the other girl was looking at her that she liked what she saw. And after being dumped, having a beautiful blonde appreciate her… charms, was definitely something she needed.

"Look how about we start over." Kennedy said as she extended her hand, "I'm Kennedy."

"I'm Harmony." She said, then took Kennedy's hand. Kennedy was surprised when she did, never would have figured such a dainty looking thing to have such a strong grip.

"That's a pretty name." Kennedy said. "So how about I buy you a drink then Harmony."

"Oh that would be great." Harmony said, "I would love some blood… Bloody Mary."

Kennedy got her new friend a drink and the two girls began talking. Kennedy had to brush over some details on her story so she let Harmony do most of the talking. She listened as Harmony told about her job, and some mundane details about her life. She was amazed to hear the girl actually worked for a law firm. She had to wonder what kind of dunderhead actually let her be his secretary. Probably some fat stuffy type who just wanted to sleep with her.

"So how is it you're all alone here then?" Kennedy asked, "A pretty girl like you with a good job must have her pick of girls, or guys if you so desired."

"I don't know. People at work don't like me for some reason and I don't get out much outside work." Harmony said, "I have a hard time fitting in sometimes." She answered honestly.

"Sorry to hear that. You seem nice enough to me." Kennedy meant that. The blonde was clearly a little shallow, not to mention she wasn't the sharpest tack in the box. But she had been nothing but nice to her.

"I am nice, I think they are just jealous, because I am working for the boss and I am so hot." She said. So much for the modesty. "But what about you? I mean you're like, really hot. I can't believe you don't have a girlfriend. Or do you just juggle a bunch and lead them all on?" she asked.

Kennedy was a bit taken back by that. This girl definitely said what was on her mind. "Uhm… No. I don't juggle them, not anymore. I had a girlfriend but not now."

"Why did you dump her? Was she not pretty enough to keep you interested?" Harmony asked suddenly genuinely interested in what Kennedy was saying.

"No." Kennedy said quickly and a little taken back. This girl said the most out of the blue things, "I didn't dump her. She dumped me."

"Oh my god!" She said shocked, "She dumped you? Wow, she must have been really pretty to think she could find a hotter dish than you." Harmony said without a touch of sarcasm, "I mean, to think she could find someone sexier, she must have been like super hot. Like Charlize Theron hot."

"OK." Kennedy snapped, interrupting her before it continued, "I get it, and thanks… I think."

"Just surprised she would dump you is all." Harmony said, "Women like you don't come along every day."

"It was kind of…" Kennedy said, wondering why she was getting so personal. Maybe it was because she finally had someone to talk to. Maybe it was because Harmony was a stranger. Or maybe in some strange way she was actually connecting with her. "Oh hell the truth is she was on the rebound. She lost her true love and I was the lucky girl to come along after and be rebound girl."

"That bitch!" Harmony said angrily.

"Hey!" Kennedy said. She wasn't sure why but even though Willow dumped her she had a feeling she shouldn't be letting a stranger call her that.

"No I mean it. Why do people do that." Harmony ranted, "They get dumped by some other girl and say, 'Hey why don't I sleep with you until I feel better.'"

Kennedy started to answer but Harmony continued.

"Sure it doesn't matter that you are in love. That you're not trying to get over anyone. You just find someone you think you can love, fall for them, then they say, 'nope sorry. I just wanted a distraction. How could I love you when I am still hung up over the one I had before you?"

"Well kind of…" Kennedy said, although she had to admit in a strange way Harmony was making sense.

"So they sweet talk you, tell you you're special, give you some sex that makes your legs go numb. Then they leave you heart broken because it was never really you they wanted to be with."

Kennedy was shocked. "You really do get it… kind of." She said. Not exactly how it happened but she was starting to realize that apparently Harmony had been in a similar situation. Who would have thought the two of them had something in common. "Been on the rebound too?"

"Me?" Harmony said suddenly looking caught, "No not me, I was just speaking in figures."

"Ohhhh k." Kennedy said.

"But whoever this girl is, she is stupid. Letting you get away, I just met you and already I know anyone who dumped you would have to be an idiot." The blonde said with certainty.

"Maybe, I don't know… you sure you aren't just saying that so I will take you back to my hotel?" Kennedy said with a smirk.

"What no! I mean ok, it would be nice if you did. Because, again with the hot and hey, I know I look great. But I like you, you're fun.

"Well thanks." The brunette answered, "I got to admit I am having a good time. Which I haven't done in a while."

"So… maybe we should go back to your hotel?" Harmony said with a smirk as she leaned in closer.

"Maybe we should…" Kennedy said back, leaning in more. "One problem, I came here from the airport. I don't have a hotel."

"Oh." Harmony said clearly disappointed. "Uhm… I have a place." She then answered as if she just thought of something brilliant.

"Really? And if I went there. You could help me forget about the girl who did me wrong?" Kennedy asked leaning in closer to Harmony as she said it.

Harmony swallowed a little at the brunette's closeness. "Oh yes." She said huskily.

"Well then, your place it is." Kennedy said as she took Harmony's hand and headed for the door.

The door to Harmony's apartment swung open as the two girls stumbled into the apartment, embraced in an intense kiss. The cab ride over to Harmony's had started well enough. But the ride led to intense gazes, which led to them playing footsy, which then led to one hell of a free show for the cab driver. The fare was pretty high too, the sleaze in the cab probably circled the block just to keep the show going. Not that either of them cared at this point.

Kennedy and Harmony continued to kiss, their tongues intertwining as they entered Harmony's apartment. Once inside Kennedy kicked the door closed with her foot as she grabbed the blonde's wrist and shoved her against the wall. The younger girl moved her leg between Harmony's pinning her in place as she began to nibble on Harmony's neck. Harmony let out a loud moan and began grinding into Kennedy's leg letting the brunette know she was doing it right. As if there was any doubt.

Harmony let out another moan as she felt Kennedy release her wrist and grabbed at her dress, pulling it down to her waist. Harmony started to move forward, forgetting in the heat of passion she was still straddling the brunette's leg. Her moan as she ended up rubbing her crotch against the girl's jeans was music to Kennedy's ears. The brunette moved her leg and slid the red dress the rest of the way off of Harmony. Her hands then moved up the blonde's stomach before finding the lace-covered bra she was wearing and lightly squeezed her breast. Harmony let out another loud moan.

"Oh baby. Oh yeah. Please don't be gentle." Harmony cried out.

"You like it rough huh?" Kennedy smiled as she squeezed Harmony's ample breast a little harder. The blonde had the most amazing breasts Kennedy had ever felt. Willow was definitely sexy but Kennedy had forgotten how nice it was to have a full pair of tits in her hands.

"Oh Shit!" Harmony cried out, "That feels so good!"

Kennedy then reached behind Harmony and removed that troublesome bra. It was so in the way. She was then surprised as Harmony reached over and in one movement ripped at Kennedy's shirt tearing it right off her.

"Hey!" Kennedy snapped. "I may need that shirt later."

"Then you better punish me for it." Harmony said with a wicked grin.

Kennedy responded by grabbing Harmony's waist and once again shoving her against the opposite wall, right next to the bedroom door. "You're a kinky little thing aren't you?" Kennedy asked, surprised at how little miss professional liked it so rough and hard.

"You complaining?" Harmony asked with a come hither look.

Kennedy didn't answer, she just responded by kissing Harmony again. As she did Harmony reached to her side frantically trying to grab the doorknob. She finally did and opened the door but in her excitement her vamp strength managed to pull it right off the hinges.

Kennedy looked at the door, then at Harmony in confusion.

"Weak hinges." Harmony answered although her voice reflected she was lying. Harmony was never a good liar. If Kennedy weren't so turned on, she might have even noticed. Instead Kennedy grabbed Harmony and eagerly shoved her onto the bed with a yelp. Harmony started to say something but Kennedy was on her before she had a chance. She ripped off Harmony's bra with one motion.

"Hey that's Victoria's Secret." Harmony said in shock.

"Payback's a bitch." Kennedy said as she reached over and grabbed Harmony's panties as she did. She pulled them down as Harmony lifted her ass to allow the brunette to remove them. Naked now, Harmony reached up and helped the girl remove her jeans then grabbed at her bra and eagerly unclasped it. She was still sliding it off as Kennedy descended on her.

She gave Harmony another kiss, their tongues intertwining. Then Kennedy removed her lips from the blondes and started to kiss her jaw line. She then moved her kissed downward, her pierced tongue trailing down the nape of Harmony's neck. She heard a gasp as she did this. Harmony was so responsive.

Kennedy then trailed down to Harmony's breast, kissing her way down as she did. She then started flicking Harmony's right nipple. Kennedy felt Harmony's nipple harden as she did it. The brunette sucked gently on it for a second before moving her attention to the other breast. She began expertly flicking the next one as Harmony moaned.

"Oh, oh Kennedy!" Harmony cried. Kennedy looked up at Harmony as she began sucking it, then with a wicked look on her face she gently bit down. "Oh, Oh shit. Oh yeah!" Harmony cried out, loving the pleasure and pain.

Kennedy then moved down to Harmony's stomach, her hair trailing across Harmony's ample breasts, tickling her excited nipples as she went. She stopped for a second at Harmony's belly button and flicked her tongue in it a couple times, giving her new lover a sign of things to come.

The brunette then moved between Harmony's legs and moved her hand up, slowly tracing Harmony's inner thighs, before moving her hand to Harmony's sex. She lightly traced her fingers over the folds of Harmony's pussy. The blond vamp let out a whimper as she did this. Kennedy continued slowly moving her fingers up and down her blonde slit, teasing her as she did.

"Please…" Harmony begged, "Please don't tease me."

The brunette girl smiled as she moved her head between Harmony's legs, She slowly moved her tongue up and down Harmony's center as the girl moaned and wiggled underneath her. Kennedy then darted her tongue inside of Harmony, causing her to yelp from surprise, bucking her hips. She then moved her attention to her lover's clit, flicking it lightly with her tongue. She slowly sped up the pace, but right as Harmony seemed on the verge of her orgasm Kennedy slowed down. The blonde could do nothing but whine as Kennedy was getting her so worked up she could barely think straight anymore.

Kennedy continued using her talented and experienced tongue to bring Harmony to the edge and then slowed it down.

"Ohhh…" Harmony moaned in frustration, "You are so mean!"

"Awww…" Kennedy smiled in sympathy, "Want me to bring you over the edge?"

"I don't want you to bring me over any damn edge. I want you to let me have my orgasm!"

That answer threw Kennedy off for a second. Harmony really was a dumb blonde. Kennedy had to admit she was a little pleased. She had had several one-night stands but never a full-fledged blonde bimbo.

"Well since you asked so nicely." Kennedy said as she then moved a finger into Harmony's mound, then two. The blonde bucked underneath her.

"Like that baby?" Kennedy asked. Although Harmony didn't say anything her moaning and writing made the answer clear. "Well let's see if you like this then?" and with that the brunette inserted another finger.

"Ohh… oh shit! Oh god!" Harmony moaned as Kennedy moved all three fingers in and out of her pussy.

"Oh wait a minute…" Kennedy said with a mischievous smile, "I bet you like it hard don't you?" and with that Kennedy started moving her fingers in and out faster and harder. Her assumption was right Harmony almost immediately started moaning and cursing even louder.

"Oh! Oh!" Harmony moaned in ecstasy as she reached behind her head to grab hold of the headboards. "Uhh… oh god your fingers. Oh! I'm almost there!"

Kennedy moved her tongue down to the other blonde's clit and started to flick it quickly over her nub as she continued to fuck her. That was all it took and she heard Harmony scream as her juices exploded. She then heard something break and looked up from her ministrations just long enough to notice that Harmony had pulled the post of the headboard right out. She was starting to wonder if the apartment didn't have termites. Not that she cared. The brunette slayer continued her assault on Harmony's sex until she felt her orgasm subside. She then sat up to see Harmony panting.

"Wow!" Harmony said in awe, "You were incredible."

"Glad you had fun." Kennedy said, clearly pleased with herself.

"Not as much as I am about to have." Harmony said as she grabbed the other girl's waist and slowly rolled her over in the bed. Then rolled on top of her. "Now it's my turn."

Much later Kennedy and Harmony lay naked in the bed totally spent. It had been a long night of lovemaking. A vampire and a slayer are not short on stamina.

"Whoa, that was amazing." Harmony said as she laid her head back and relaxed. Unfortunately for her, Harmony relaxed so much that she slipped into her game face. Her true vampire form now showing.

The brunette Slayer rolled over to talk to her lover and then saw the face, it didn't take long for her to notice the face in front of her, and even less time to register she was in bed with a vampire.

"What the…" Kennedy shouted as she rolled out of bed with her Slayer reflexes. Naked in the middle of the room. "What the hell is this?"

"What's what. What's wrong?" Harmony said genuinely confused. "Oh my god! Was I not good?"

"Were you not… what the?" Kennedy said thrown off, "You're a vampire. Shit how did I not notice."

"What?" Harmony said she then looked back and forth quickly avoiding eye contact. "No I'm not." The blonde lied unconvincingly.

"You have your game face on!" Kennedy shouted.

"I wha…" Harmony then felt her face, realizing she was in fact vamped out. "Oh." She said suddenly realizing. She at least had enough sense to turn back to her human face.

"Ok right, so I am a vampire." Harmony said, "So what? I mean everyone is something right? For all I know you could be…" Harmony started to finish her thought as she saw Kennedy reach for the dresser and yank one of the legs off, having a ready made stake. "Uhm, you're a slayer aren't you?"

"Don't act like you don't know." Kennedy said, "What was this some sick game? Get the slayer, get her in you're bed and then kill her?" Kennedy said enraged.

"What? No this was no plan! I didn't know you were a slayer?" Harmony said sincerely. "Um getting back to that, you aren't going to slay me are you?"

"Give me one reason I shouldn't." Kennedy said angrily.

"Because I rocked your world?" the vampire answered in a hopeful tone.

Kennedy didn't seem to be buying that excuse as she moved forward intently.

"No! No wait!" Harmony said and that seemed to be enough to at least temporarily stop the Slayer from advancing. "I swear I am not dangerous."

"So you're not a soulless, evil bloodsucker?" Kennedy asked.

"Hey I am so." Harmony said offended. She then saw the look on Kennedy's face and immediately started talking again. "But I am not 'evil' evil. I don't drink human blood anymore and haven't killed anyone in over a year. And… and I work for Angel helping the helpless. He is this vampire with a…"

"Wait. Angel? You work for Angel?" Kennedy said.

"Yeah you heard of him?" Harmony said hopeful that would save her.

"Buffy's ex. The head of an evil law firm? That Angel?" Kennedy asked.

"Well yeah. But he is good and making it a place that helps people, and I work there. So you see I am not evil in the need to slay me way."

Kennedy paused. This didn't feel right, letting a vampire go. But she certainly didn't seem dangerous. And sure Angel fell out of Buffy and the others' graces since running Wolfram and Heart, but he did help them retrieve a slayer. And so far he seemed to be doing good. Besides, Kennedy did just sleep with her. It didn't seem right to kill someone she slept with. Not exactly the correct way to say, 'thank you for making me feel wanted again after being dumped.'

"And you didn't know I was a slayer when you approached me in the club?" Kennedy asked, noticeably letting her guard down.

"No. I thought you were hot, and… and I was lonely." Harmony said looking sad. "I just wanted to connect with someone you know. Be reminded that I was desirable. It has been a long time. If I knew you were a slayer I can assure you I would have stayed away. Probably running away as fast as possible." Harmony answered. "But it wasn't so bad was it."

"No. It wasn't." Kennedy said remembering the night before. She could definitely understand being lonely too. That was the real reason she went to the club, she wanted this. Not with a vampire, but she did want to be in someone's bed. She wanted to be reminded she was still wanted. Since Willow made it so clear it wasn't by her.

"Besides, I mean yeah slayer and a vampire sleeping together. Not the usual. But hey, Buffy did it with Angel and Spike." The blonde said, "I mean, it's like the new trend or something."

Kennedy couldn't help but laugh some at that. Harmony really was endearing, even if she was a vamp. "I guess it is." Kennedy said.

"So um… you're not going to kill me then?" Harmony said perking up.

"No I won't kill you." Kennedy said resigned, "You promise you don't fed on humans anymore?" She said.

"Cross my heart. Well, my heart doesn't beat but it is still there." She said.

"Got it." Kennedy said. "Still I think I should go now." She said as she slipped back into her clothes.

"Yeah." The vampire agreed, "It was great though. Except for the part where you were briefly going to kill me." Harmony thought for a minute, "and in retrospect I guess that is kind of hot."

"It was… the first part was I mean." Kennedy said as she finished slipping back into her clothes. The brunette Slayer then went to the door. "And Harmony…" Kennedy said as she opened the door to leave, "Thanks." She then left.

Harmony laid back on the bed. Relieved she was not dead and that she finally got some really good sex. She then got up to get ready for work. She so couldn't wait to rub it in Spike's face that he wasn't the only one who got a slayer into their bed.
