Will Aly return to Veronica Mars?

Will Alyson Hannigan come back to VM?
She will be back for one more episode in April. Beyond that, all we can do is hope and pray and pay off a witch doctor to get her new project, a pilot for CBS, off the fall schedule. (Mean, I know, but all's fair in love of Veronica Mars.) Willow has joined the peeper peeps' How I Met Your Mother, an ensemble comedy about a family man reminiscing about his bachelor days. And while I'm sure it's all good and dandy, I want her fisticuffing with Veronica. Sorry.

Funny, I asked just that of Rob Thomas. He said: "That has more to do with her than us. She really wants to get in a half-hour show, and I think she's got a pilot. If it goes next year, then she'll be doing that show, and maybe occasionally pop up on Veronica Mars. If it doesn't go, I'd love to get Alyson back and if she's available, I'm sure we will have her back." When I asked how many episodes she did last season, Rob said, "Two, and she was gonna do a third one for us but when she booked this pilot, it conflicted with when we needed her for the final."
From bjg2002: Rob Thomas' comments about Alyson sure make it seem like he thinks Veronica Mars is coming back for season two, doesn't it?
Yes, and in the column you'll see that both Rob and Kristen think it will return.
