I, Kristin Veitch, hereby pledge to watch every episode of Skating with Celebrities and behold the wonders of Dave Coulier in spandex.
I shall tell the world that The O.C. is better than ever this season.
And I will profess my undying love to Stacked by launching an Emmy campaign for the show's two stars...and also Pam Anderson.
These are my New Year's resolutions, but they come with one caveat: Fox must do the right thing and save Arrested Development and Reunion. Not for me. Not for Todd Bridges or his sassy sequins. But for the thousands of fans who weighed in on E! Online's annual Save One Show poll, which asks TV aficionados to vote for the one endangered series they cannot live without.
This year, we tallied more votes than ever--nearly 20,000--and Fox claimed top (bottom?) honors. See for yourself.

10. 7th Heaven, What I Like About You, Fat Actress, Night Stalker and Will and Grace (which all received less than 1 percent).
Clearly, Arrested's fans are not ready to see this genius comedy come to an end. And anyone who saw Monday's episode knows why: It's the funniest damn thing on television.
The good news? Fox studio sources tell me Showtime is chomping at the bit to get its hands on Arrested (and Showtime certainly could be a more fitting, less restrictive home). However, no deal can be struck until Fox officially cancels the series. Unfortunately, Fox President Peter Liguori doesn't have to do so until May, so we could have a torturous wait ahead of us.
 Speaking of torture, though Arrested claimed the top spot, it's clear that no TV fans are feeling more anguish than those of Fox's Reunion. Though the series was short-lived (just a few months), this addictive series developed a die-hard following, which is now beside itself knowing that the 20-year mystery (who killed Sam) was left cliffhanging and will never be resolved.
Sources tell me ABC Family and the WB were initially both very interested in picking up Reunion; however, the series was deemed too expensive for the former and borderline so for the latter. To which I say: We fans don't care if Reunion becomes a puppet show performed by monkeys, just show us the rest of the dang story!
As you can see, we have a tie for third place this year: Alias and Veronica Mars. Sadly, by all accounts, it seems that Alias is truly riding off into the rerun sunset in May, even though we devoted fans are having a hard time letting go of one of the best series ever to grace the telly. It will be sorely missed.
As for Veronica, though there are no signs yet that UPN is going to pass on a third season in May, let me remind the powers that be that this show is far too good to go away.

Midseason Lowdown: So much to watch, so little TiVo space. With a whole new crop of midseason shows (new series and new seasons for old faves) headed your way this month (we'll get to the March ones when the time comes), I figured it might be helpful to give you my take on what's worth watching, so here goes.
 See It
Jake in Progress (ABC, Mondays): The first two episodes of the second season of Jake are so good they're worth breaking alphabetical order in this list. Okay, so I also wanted to show you my latest John Stamos run-in in the video clip at right--so sue me. Regardless, in all seriousness, Jake has really hit its stride this season. It's smart, endearing, even edgy and laugh-out-loud funny. I must beg of you, even if you've seen it before, give Jake a chance this season. I think you'll be smitten.

NBC's Four Kings, Fox's Skating with Stars (unless Fox rescues Arrested and Reunion) and ABC's Crumbs (though this one is borderline, and I do still love me some Fred Savage).
