The Final Season
Production Office Opens
April 25th, 2006
 Producers for The Final Season opened their production office in Cedar Rapids on April 24th. In the coming weeks they expect to have up to 25 people working on all aspects of pre-production. The film is scheduled to begin shooting in Cedar Rapids and Norway, Iowa on May 30th and wrapping in early July.
Cast to star in the film include:

Norway, Iowa. Population 586. Everyone knows everybody. Most of the kids work on their parent’s farms doing chores before baseball practice or game time. The team has become State 1A Baseball champion for the 19th time when they learn they will be losing their school, their long time beloved coach and their team, to consolidation. The loss of the school takes the heart out of the townspeople, but the ball team and their new young coach are determined to make their Final Season one for the records.
Eliza's part:
POLLY HUDSON, 25, tough, by-the-book, attractive lawyer representing the State’s side in the reorganization process. She does it because it’s her job, but soon begins to see Kent’s side of the argument, and, in so doing, falls for him.
The minor roles were not casted yet.
"We want actors who look like real Iowans. This is a SAG film that will shoot on location in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area beginning May 30, 2006."
