Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar has revealed that she took much pleasure in portraying a porn star, named Krysta Now, in her new film, ’Southland Tales’, according to a published report.
Gellar was so interested in being an on-screen porn star, she didn’t even read the script to the movie before signing up for it!
In the midst of showing the movie at the Cannes Film Festival, the former ’Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ star revealed, "The director, Richard Kelly, came to me with presented the film so thoroughly that I couldn’t say no. It was a dream come true." Continue reading this article below
"I play Krysta Now who is an adult film star but she’s also a reality television star, she has an album, she has a soda drink... she’s a multi industry."
But the actress, who is married to Hollywood hottie Freddie Prince Junior, wants the audience to view her character as more than just a porn star.
She says, "The most important thing to me is that it makes you re-examine things but it’s also evocative and that’s all that I ask of people, whether it makes you angry, whether it makes you sad, whether it makes you unhappy with the world."
"I want you to feel something and go home and talk about it and keep speaking about it."
