Buffy hates Spike for being the one to show her how messed up her life is, and tries to let her anger out on him, but Spike doesn't allow her to treat him like dirt. How Spike should have acted in season 6 and what happens when time starts going all wonky? Buffy has to find out what the flashes she has mean, but in true Buffy style, the flashes start becoming less flashy and more time travely. No worries, though, there will be lots of Spuffy love, I promise! (If anyone would like to make me a banner for this story I would really appreciate it!)

Summary: Angelus makes his way back to the mansion during "I Only Have Eyes For You" where the ghosts of old tragic lovers possessed him and Buffy. Angelus is furious at being made to feel "love" for the Slayer again. He heads out with Dru for a "vile kill" and comes across the Slayer who seems to be lost in thought. In his rage he drains most of her blood and leaves her to die. This is not the end of our heroine as Spike, who can now walk (unknown by Angelus and Dru), sees the fall of the Slayer. What will he do? Will he let her die? Or will he give her a new life to help him get revenge on his Sire?

Summary: Buffy Summers was hoping that when she moved to Sunnydale, she could forget about all of the 'Slayer' stuff that was thrust upon her in L.A. These hopes are quickly smothered though when she finds out that the librarian at Sunnydale High is also her new Watcher. Even worse, the small, quiet town she's just moved to is floating on a Hellmouth. Apparently, destiny has a slightly tighter grip on her than she thought.

This story is a series rewrite, starting from Welcome to the Hellmouth. It is built on the simple question of, how would things have gone if Buffy had met a different ensouled vampire on her way to the Bronze that night?
