good to have you back - this is the kind of dark-edged story that keeps me coming back for more. I don't mind if the build up for spuffy takes a while, you're letting us see where Buffy is at and I'm sure the 60(!) years gone will be explained - keep up the good work. Thanks so far.

60 years went by? No fun... that long? For Buffy Spike is gone so it seem every other thing (her family and her sister) have lost her meanings for her. *wonders how Spike will come back - to get a spuffy story*
Author's Response: i know, sixty years. it has to be that long because there is a point. i promise. like i told magnus374, when you lose the only thing that matters to you, your priorities and ways of thinking change. her family really had stopped caring for her, they left her alone and abandoned her. she only had spike, and he was taken away from her in a very short amount of time. you have to wait, for the spuffy, but i PROMISE, there will be much fluff and spuffy.

Author's Response: thank you. and yes there will be spuffy, you have to be patient. this isnt going to be a story that goes from sad to spuffy in two chapters, its going to take a bit to pan out. as ive promised all the other reviewers though, there will be spuffy. you just have to be patient.

wow - vengence is hers, and so far she's ... talented. if only, if only ... spike were there. sniff. and all the scoobies are now gone. atleast she doesn't feel alone, even if it's d'hoffryn. in a weird way, she gained her freedom. looking forward to more of her adventures ...

The Immortal really killed Spike? I didn't think he would. That's a shame. Yet the time travel part gives me a bit of hope.

Lonely Buffy even if not alone. I'm glad to read she didn't get too much involved with the Immortal though both Buffy and Spike are in trouble now. Especially Buffy. Hope it won't come to the worst.

A dark beginning and I find it a bit hard to belive that she's with the Immortal when she dislike him that much. Anyway the story is good and wellwritten, I want more.

Very poignant description of Buffy's feelings and reactions to the people who used to be her family in her new life. I hope the misunderstanding for Spike gets cleared up very soon, even if they have to go through a lot of pain and deal with a lot of enemies after.
I'm intrigued about how D'Hoffryn is going to come into play, and just where this story could go. Can't wait to read more!
