This is my favourite line. It demonstrates what we all knew from the start, that Buffy & Spike truly belong together. That's why their relationship feels so natural for both of them, even though they've been together such a short time. Lovely.

Great bridge for the next book!! Loved Spike's musings and foreshadows, and I love the intimacy/domestic flavor of the Spuffy relationship. Can't wait to read the next book!!!

GREAT FIRST CHAPTER NIAMH,BUFFY AND SPIKE SO PARTFECT FOR EACH OTHER. AGREE WITH SPIKE IT WON'T BE THE LAST TIME WE SEE ANGEL OUR WILLOW AND ZANDER CASS TROUBLE FOR HIM AND BUFFY. HOPE BUFFY AND SPIKE CAN HOLD STRONG TO THERE RELLATIONSHIP WITHOUT OUTSIDE INTER INTERFERENCE

Wonderful. You really captured their emotions well. I liked the little touches that showed how serious they've gotten, even in a short period of time--Spike having the key, the feel that they've been together longer, Buffy wearing his shirt. And it's good that Spike's got his eyes open for Willow and Angel, since I doubt that either one of them will be able to let well enough alone. A beautifully written look at Spike and Buffy's relationship.

Oh Nia. This was so incredibly beautiful. 100 years indeed. Can we have 100 years of this? That'd make a very good start. It just makes me even more excited for the second book. I can't wait to see what Willow and Angel's next moves are. The familiarity between Buffy and Spike has always been there, and I'm so glad you pointed it out. Whether fighting or loving, these two were destined. Very, very sexy love scene. Spike watching Buffy was extremely steamy hot. Lovely, tender interlude Nia.

i always loved that sting song. haven't thought about it for years. thanx for reminding me. spike is so very right to be weary of the way willow left. nowhere near over in her mind. once she regroups........yee gods. spike needs to talk to giles and they all need to keep and eye on her and xander. as for LA, wesley needs to keep and eye to. gods can only imagine what the big forhead will say to him once he gets back. my heart goes out for buffy and what shes having to go thru. not only her own trauma but dealing with everyone elses shit. well not everyone but you get my point. thank the gods for tara and dawn giving her what she needs. it was nice ot see spike and buffy talk about their "normalcy" in the bedroom like they had been doing it for years. i'm glad buffy made him come clean. it was good they talked about drusilla and how long she had been with him and the fact that SHE left HIM......that says volumes. buffy reacting well to her name was another great thing to see b/c she understood what he was trying to say to her. he is sooooo cute when he gets scared he said somethign wrong. their love making was beautiful. Nia, you mean the world to me. no words can describe...........you are my sister. i love you
