I've only just found this fic via the 'random story' thingy, and can't believe I've never seen it before. It rocks!
I've never read a VampBuffy story set in season 7 before, and this one is a doozy. I love the way Dru turns up to help, and she makes Buffy the Master of the Aurelian line! Whatever will Angel say? So Buffy isn't interested in feeding on Dawn, although I wouldn't blame her for wanting to hurt any of them, the traitors. She's not your average vampire, is she?
Now then, will Faith & Willow join them?
I can't believe it's been more than 2 years since this story has been updated.
I NEED MORE!

I loved this chapter. Especially Spike telling off Dawn. She made me the most mad in Empty Places. Buffy jumped off of a 100 foot tower and was electrocuted the entire way down by mystical energy for Dawn. Remember the speech Buffy made in The Gift abut how much Dawn means to her? I coulnd't believe Dawn could do that to her sister.

I loved the idea that Buffy became a vampire and will use her role as Master to create an army against the First. I also wrote a Fanfic on this episode because I hated the way everyone threw Buffy out of her own house including Dawn. It pissed me off so much that I had to write about it. I have decided to re-write it where Buffy accecpted the power from those men in the Epiosde 'Get it Done'. Your fic inspired me to do that instead of what I had originally did with Buffy which was bad.

I like that you made Dru her sire. I've read Kari Mouke fics that have Dru, Buffy , Spike and sometimes Angel together as family and enjoy the interaction between them. I can't wait to read Angel's reaction to Buffy being head of the Aurelian line. Too cool!! Hope to read more soon.

I wonder why it is Buffy reacts to Dru. She refuses her gift? Mmmmm... Ah! I see. The 'first watchers'. So Dru became Buffy's new SIre. As I said I didn't see her in this position but this Dru fits the role she is playing = the sire. Well - Buffy isn't a normal vamp But underneath the sun is still shining. Wow - and Buffy will be the head of the Aureilian line too? I see - maybe the demon Buffy got was a really old one - like the one the three man intended to give to her. So it really seems that the PTB had her hands in that. Gonna need a lot of invitations to accommodate all of the guests Help to defeat the First? Maybe... Yes indeed - this is the plan. Looking forward to the next one!

Love insightful Buffy. I wonder if she really lost her soul - or her inner slayer demon did help? And I wonder what Dru wants now... If Buffy would have someone to become a new sire for her he could teach her.. I don't imagine Dru for it :)

This is a very interesting story. It is one of the more realistic versions of Buffy being turned into a vampire that I've read. Perhaps the actual turning could have been fleshed out a little more but it's still a very good start. Please do update soon!
