Oh right the mother. Wonder who it was (or is)? Or was because she isn't around.
Dawn is really clever - she knows the answer. Buffy, huh? So was she around / vanished she after giving birth or was just her DNA used? More questions.
Dwan is tough, she knows how 'to take' Spike. :)

Lots of questions answered, thank you. Bit puzzled by dawn. How old is she here? If Spike was left with a baby Dawn when Buffy vanished after Acathla five years earlier, doesn't that make her aged 5? if so, she's a very precocious 5 year old! Love that Spike thinks Buffy has 'a fine looking ass'. I'd love to know what memories Spike has of Dawn's conception and birth.... MORE PLEASE!

Sounds better to me, a watcher that would have stayed and not run.
There isn't much reaction though now that Buffy is there from Giles - because Buffy isn't his Buffy. But Dawn is there already. :)
Ohhhhh Dawn is Spike's daughter. He makes a good protector for her with Buffy not there.

The thought of Faith and Wes together was a bit weird at first, but then not so much. Giles falling apart when Buffy disappeared is totally in character (did she not return after Acathla? How come he hasn't done a location spell to find her?). Longing to learn how this Dawn arrived as Spike's daughter... and the identity of her mother... more soon please.

Mmmmmh so Faith was there taking over Buffy's job. So the Hellmouth was save (and it did Faith good it seems, she's still there, fighting).
And you have me curious how the the meeting with Giles will go. Hoping for more to read; enjoyed. :)

Wow, this is getting really interesting. I love writing about other dimensions - where different decisions play out - and reading about them, too!! (I was gutted at 'dusty' Spike but SO needed to know where you were going with it!)
Author's Response: I am so glad that everyone didn't run from the dusty beginning of it! Hopefully everyone knows me well enough to know that i don't do unhappy endings. I'm with you on the different times/dimensions angle. I have no idea how many of this I have done but it is definitely my number one kink!
