They (Buffy and Spike) did almost get along well... almost.
And Buffy didn't like the news of Dru's and Angel's past. Neither did she like the thought to be only a fill in for Dru (when it comes to Spike).
But Spike telling her that she could never fill in for Dru? I bet she liked that even less.
Good to see you updating this story :))
