I've read this more than once. I love this take on things, but I see it as a beginning to a much larger story and wish you would write the sequel. This would be a great springboard toward the healing of that relationship and so many evils that happened around this time of the show. There is so much angst and depth to play off of and the challenges presented to all the relationships and characters would present opportunities for rich dialogue. You have a great talent and I will keep reading what you write. Thanks

Author's Response: Wow. Thanks so much for this review. Um...I won't say that I'll never come back to this at some point (I have a couple of more "revisits" for some of my one shots), but with this one, I'm just not sure what I'd have them do. Except for maybe go to counseling. Well, that would be an interesting scene, wouldn't it? Airing of grievances and working through issues...maybe I'll revisit this one sooner rather than later ;)

What a great conversation Spike and Buffy had. Loved the hopeful ending. Good story!
