Did not see that coming. Hope Buffy 2002 escapes somewhere with Spikebot 1880. Seems unfair to shut her in a box and ship her off somewhere. Gotta say I did enjoy the summer perviness, though. :) And it ultimately was truly original. :)>
Author's Response: Thanks Buffyrat :) Original is a huge compliment *hugs* so glad you had fun! hmmm it was left with unanswered questions (ie. Twilight Zone) which could leave the reader to draw their own conclusions or the writer to follow up with a sequel... only time will tell!

OMG I NEVER saw that coming!! Good job! So poor Buffy was a bot with a misplaced chip.Bahahaaha. Funny!! Loved the Bot Ho line.
I will definitely place an order for my own Spike bot if that technology ever becemos reality! LOL

btw was Xander her original owner? Kinda confused on that. :)
Author's Response: heehee YAY! I got you too! *bounces* as for Xander, he was human, and since he had "used" her as his friend, hard to say, but since the Bots are to be as human as possible, he may have just been a friend.. ie. Bicentental Man. So glad you enjoyed.

must admit that i haven't really read the rest of the series, but i decided to read this one and I am glad I did. I agree with your endnotes, and see some similarity that with the original short story 'I Sing the Body Electric' (originally written by Ray bradbury), 'I, Robot' anthology (arthur C. Clarke) and Bicentennial man (Robert Silverberg). There are man SF stories out there that touch on the nature of sentience and self awareness especially as they relate to robots and andriod forms of same. I find your conclusion highly satisfying for the skill with which you have tied these threads together.

I thought it was a great coda to the Summer Lovin' series, bringing all of the previous adventures back to mind and wrapping them up in a big bow. Very nice homage to the Twilight Zone :D LMAO about her calling herself a 'Bot Ho' :P Proved more true a statement than she knew... *doo-do do-doo*
