Ooooo poor Elizabeth and William, one pacing the halls of her mind the other pacing the halls of his house until they both see each other. To steal Tina's phrase, "Le Sigh..."
And Fred and Wes!! Yes, you know I love this side-arc to the story just as much as the Spuffyness! I do hope neither regrets their night together, yum! Fred is right in her sumation of that awkward "morning after passionate sex with the guy you've been lusting after for years" feeling. I think it happens to everyone. *blushes*
I can't wait for the Royal Ascot - "Move yer bloomin' arse!"

SWOONS!!! Buffy is finally in love and is wiling to admit it, Fred and Wes are in love... le sigh. It really seemed like Wes was a changed man the when he woke up and started talking to Fred as if they had been together forever... that was so cute. Of course they've yet to face Spike, but somehow - I don't think he'll mind so much, giggles. Love is in the air with a hint of worrisome angst in 3 directions - you evil author you, hee hee, bloody brilliant! I bow to you oh great one and of course look very forward to editing the next chappy when you're ready. Love you carino.

Gotta love that Wesley and Fred ended up in lodging that was less than perfect. ;-) It was nice to see nature taking it's course for those two, their love scene was hot and sweet. :D I also liked that Spike helped Buffy get over her fears. Wonderful chapter!

Of course Buffy was mortified at her wanton behavior, even though William initiated the encounter. This lust she's feeling must be a bit overwhelming. William's reassurance was lovely, and his reason for not eloping was heart felt. She does deserve a church wedding, not matter the desire coursing between them. There also would be rumors and innuendo aplenty if he whisked Buffy off to Gretna Green.
The tension between Wes and Winifred was wonderful, and I love that all it takes to get Wes to give in is the intimacy of unbuttoning Winifred's dress. It was like a dam breaking. There's no way Winifred is going to let him go back to his standoffish ways, though his inner "...if only for tonight..." was a bit worrisome.
Thanks for more of this charming story.
Author's Response: Yes, that's exactly how Buffy's feeling, mortified, overwhelmed, uncertain and she needed the reassurance William gave her through his speech. I hadn't planed on Wes giving in quite like that, but really, once I began I couldn't stop him. He sort of took over. I'm glad you liked that! And thank you for your awesome review!
