I'm so glad this updated! I really like this twist on Buffy's life and experiences, which have shaped who she is as she deals with Spike and Dru. I really love Spike and can't wait to see them grow closer, with Dru as a sweet matchmaker! Angel's villainy is intriguing, though I get the feeling we'll have to wait a couple chapters before Buffy and Spike meet up with him. Oh, I can't wait for more!
Great chapter, fun and dangerous! Willow, Giles, and Xander slowly gaining clues for the prophecy are great, not slowing down the action or seeming forced for the plot--smoothly flowing. And I love the idea of all the teenagers in Chinatown rushing off to keep watch for Buffy, with her seeming so happy about it. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Ahhh, the plot thickens!! Love that Buffy and spike are allies from the off - so what's Angel up to? Can't wait for the next installment.

I like the way you're setting up Dru's part in Spike and Buffy meeting. Having them fight together rather than agaisnt each other first is a good twist and could change everything about how they relate to each other.
Really liking this story, and waiting for Angel to be thrashed, as well as the mystery of Angel's allies and the prophecy to be revealed. Looking forward to more.
