I love the bickering between Spike & Angel. You've got it just right. Also Buffy's ability to make them both shut up and tend to business.
I always was suspicious of that Shanshu... After all the scroll came from W&H in the first place before Wes started translating it, and of course they've never been fooled by a fake prophecy before...

I've only just found this fic because of the update and I have to say I'm loving it. Having Buffy arrive just at the right moment to prevent that little bit of lunacy with Harmony was perfect, and having her being miffed with him for being back for months (even though he was all ghosty) is very true to character. I hope she witnessed some of the fight and Angel's denigration of her Champion's actions...

Involving Buffy at this point in "Angel" is intriguing, and you're doing an excellent job incorporating her. The "happy" reunion was lots of fun with the yelling and the stuttering. This is a good start and I'm looking forward to more.
