Had read the first chapter a while back, but couldn't remember the name, was pleasantly surprised to find it on someone's favorite fic list. I love the chemistry between the two, it is electrifying. Hope to see more chapters in the future. I have now put it on my OWN favorite's list. Keep going!

Weird dream that Buffy had *wonders what it means*. Reilly said it in the dream, he is already gone. That much is true.

Loved the spuffyness - cute when there was a misunderstanding because of the language.

This was a warm, wonderful chapter in this well written, vivid story. Buffy's dream was intriguing, and I'm left wondering if her subconscious is saying it's really okay to move on. Spike sneaking up on her in the silent kitchen was jarring and lovely, and that entire glass extrication was sexy as hell as was the torrid kissing. You've really captured the chemistry and bantering here.

I was laughing at Buffy's flustered incredulity at Spike's virginity. Her confusion about snogging was priceless. Spike's back story rang true to the character you've created here, and it makes me like the man he's become even more. How can Buffy help but love him.

I was delighted to see an update on this emotional, beautifully written story.

You're back! Back when you first posted, I was a horrible, horiible lurker. Since then, I've come out fo the shadows to show my appreciation to talented story-tellers such as yourself.

This chapter has it all with your veiled "yuck, Buffy blood" comment (caught that), eye-brow raising Spike's virginity revelation, and the ever-delightful man-crush references. I really did miss this story and had re-read last summer.

You can't imagine HOW HAPPY I am to see your update. Bounces!

Thanks for this lovely, quiet chapter. The melancholy Spike's feeling at the thought of the summer ending so soon was beautifully tempered by the growing love between these two. The scene was vividly detailed and the warmth and affection between Spike and Buffy rang true emotionally.

Buffy's reticence to be in a relationship is true to the character you've drawn. I hope the two of them are able to break through the walls she's thrown up, but take your time. This is moving along beautifully.
