I've read this before, and apparently I've failed to review, sorry! And though it is angsty, indeed angstier than I usually like, it's all handled so well it just doesn't bother me at all. I really have enjoyed this fic. So well written.

Angst galore. I have that tense feeling of dread and anticipation. I hate it and love it in equal measures. I just want them to be perfect but damn I enjoy watching them earn it!! Doesn't do much for my blood pressure though!

I'm enjoying the build up of tension between them and am interested in how Buffy ended up with Liam. I am surprised that she keeps referring to William as a boy though as he is so close in age to her. seems odd.

Ach, I wish you didn't have cause to have to do any more than just provide the warnings for people to read. You really shouldn't have to reiterate. For my part, I'm loving the scene setting and looking forward to the angsty journey. :)

i read the begining of 5 fanfics today(cuase i have no life) and only finished this one. it was a great story, i havent read any of the other reveiws, but i know how it can be hard and un practical for a battered woman to go to a shelter, and then to be able to calim self defense, and how blind young love can really be some times. so i have no beef with any of the stuff that i guess others were grated by. the only thing i wondered about was why mexico, he grew up in england, i didnt understand why he didnt try to take her there, but i can also understand cuases and the practicality of the story soooo, but thats the only thing i was like huh? on but other then that, i loved it it was a great story and im gonna look up some of your other stuff

You've done it! Taken the long and winding road of bringing them together. I hadn't anticipated the twist in who took out Angelus. You did a great job in incorporating the characters into such an au plot. Excellent writing on your part.

I always love your stuff and this is no exception. Wonderful story. I like that you never take the easy road and have things wrap up nicely in a few chapters. Character-wise it was all very believable and the whodunit at the end was well done.
Love the angst, love the smut, love the happy ending, love you...

Wow! Finally Liam has showed his true colors to Buffy. Poor William though, I don't see this going well for him. Let's hope Liam won't find out. I shudder to think what that bastard will do to him if he finds out. Great story! The angst is so delicious! : )
