loved it! you do have a way with words because i could just sense buffy's emotion, her peace while the rain washed away her grief and her sorrows.
spike giving her warmth in the only way he knew he could was wonderful... and what buffy did, a single, apparently simple gesture, was all that 6th season needed... something so little nobody would have ever notice, but spike.

I wanted to really get that point across, that the rain was washing it away, and Spike was sharing this intimate moment with her that she actually included him in, instead of pushing him away. I wish the 6th season had had fluffy moments in the rain. =/

I like Buffy feeling more at peace, and intertwining her fingers with Spike when he gave her his duster.
Beautiful written.

I usually don't like ficlets, but this I loved. I'm very impressed. ; ) Is that it, or can I look forward to more?
Author's Response: I'm planning on writing much more!
Hopefully, I can do a couple more stories like this to where they have quiet moments together; something we didn't get to see on the show.
I think I'll do a few more ficlets before really jumping into anything big, but I do want to travel into the land of smut. I've always been a sucker for sweet smut.
