All you do in this fic is blame Buffy. Have every character blame her and she hasn't done anything wrong. Having her be everyone's scapegoat every damn chapter is stupid, redundant and annoying. This fic reads immature.

Okay, so...I typically avoid WIPs because I hate being left in the dark, with no way to know if it'll ever be finished. And yes, this is kind of important background info for me, as a reader.
From the first chapter, I was completely hooked and knew I had to reach the end of the tunnel. Or at least as far as it's been dug so far anyway.
You have done SUCH an incredible job fleshing out all of these characters, and Katie is one of my favorite original characters I've read in a fic, and especially a Spuffy one.
And believe me, I definitely understand and commiserate with long breaks in between writing, for any number of reasons. So let me just end this rambling with:
You're awesome, and your writing's wonderful and I look forward to reading future chapters of this story.

It has been many years since this was updated and I'm so sad about that. This has the makings of the most well-written character development and plot I've ever read among Spuffy fanfics.
I don't know if one more plea will help but let me add my voice to the calls for this fic to be finished. I understand that there were problems with your hands that prevent lots of typing but Windows 10 now has built in voice recognition. Or, there is also the Dragon software voice recognition program available.
I really, really hope that you will consider finishing up this amazing story.

It's been a few years since I took a train, but I don't recall them requiring ID, even post 9-11. Although I always bought my tickets on-line with a credit card. I think they may have looked at the ticket when I went down to the platform, not when I actually boarded the train, but I don't recall needing ID to board a train.

You never give any detail's about Rosemary's parents. It makes me wonder what kind of parents produce such a pack of hellspawn. Are they indifferent? Abusive? Just oblivious to the fact their darling children aren't so darling? Or are they secretly first cousins that ran off and eloped, which explains alot about their offspring.

Are there any rules against Buffy bringing gifts for Katie to visitation? Because I think she should have a t-shirt made up with a picture of her and Katie and the words "Mommy & Me" on it, and put it on her during her next visitation. Corrine will probably throw it in the trash as soon as she gets home, but maybe she'll realize Buffy is not going to give up her daughter without putting up a hell of a fight. Foster parents may think the adoption is "as good as done" but they've got a rude awakening coming if they think Buffy's just gonna roll over and let them take her baby!

Hopefully Buffy gets Katie back soon, and she'll have at least one more Xmas and Easter to dress her up before Katie hits the "I don't wanna wear that!" snit fit stage.
(Post inspired by my niece's 3+1/2 year old who refused to wear her red-white-and-blue sundress for the 4th of July, she wanted her pink shorts and shirt. Exasperated sigh!)

Okay, I've got a hypothetical question. Suppose Faith never got involved with Robin, never worked as a stripper, never got involved in the drugs and other illegal stuff he got her involved in. And despite this, Buffy still got caught for being a teenaged runaway. And CPS got involved and her parents still didn't want her to come home with Katie. Could Faith have qualified to be her legal guardian? She may not be an ideal person, although after meeting John & Rosemary I wonder what an ideal guardian would be, but she's over 18 and a blood relative. Given how hard it would be to find a situation for a teenager with a baby, I would say "Beggars can't be choosers." So you could szay "Fine, she stays with you as long as she goes back to school and takes the parenting classes etc. etc. Could you please put up a new chapter so I can stop obsessing.

If John & Rosemary are the best CPS can do for foster parents, I think Buffy would be better off if they let her live on her own. It's not just that Rosemary is mentally unbalanced, she's completely USELESS as a parent. She's always shut in her room. She doesn't supervise, she doesn't cook most of the time, doesn't do housework, doesn't do laundry. Buffy can't talk to her or ask her for advice. John's no better, all he does is oogle her when he's around. Honestly, except for not going to school then, she was alot better off living with Faith. At least she had someone living in the same house that actually cared about her.

I would love it if Hank & Joyce had a change of heart about "allowing" Buffy to come home and Judge Holtz made them jump through a whole bunch of hoops while he considers it.
I would assume they would have to let her bring Katie home with her, since it would violate her parental rights otherwise.
Could he require them to move to Sunnydale so Buffy & Katie wouldn't have to be uprooted? After all, Buffy is still on probation.
How about regular drug tests for Joyce, since her alcoholism is on the record?
Family therapy? Oh boy, do they need that!
Parenting class? I would say they need it more than Buffy did.
And what if after all that, the judge asks Buffy what she wants and she says she doesn't want to go home.
