Always wondered why they didn't have cellphones before season 7 - although Buffy did have a pager for a single episode (Never Kill a Boy on the First Date) - they would have made communications, particularly in 'Hush' *so* much easier.

This is great! I especially like the use of characters (Joyce was so underused) and it would be wonderful if Zander could utilize his aquired military expertise. The characters are great. Spike always did say he wanted a fair fight. It would be a natural for him to be enraged that they were taken by drugs/tasers rather than hand to hand combat. This is Joss worthy, and I like it better. Please keep the inspiration, this is awesome. Oh, and give Maggie something really gruesome to deal with at the end. You haven't been graphic about everything that happened to Buffy but judging by her emotional vulnerability it was something mentally and physically horrific. I wish there was a legal way for Maggie et al to get their just desserts.
