Author's Response: Thank you!! I loved the idea and I had to start it right away. I'm sorry that it made you sad though! I wanted it to be emotional but keep it Spike-ish as well, you know? When stories make me cry, I know the author did his/her job. Your story made me bawl like a baby. Different twist on what could have been. It would actually have made season 6 more painful if she did, indeed, write that letter.

I wnted it to be emotional... but I'm sorry it made you cry too = ( Alot of the readers have suggested a sequel to this fic.. for when she is resurected and how Spike and Buffy will deal with the letter. Wow that was very emotinal. I wish that Buffy would have done that in seaon five instead of treating Spike like crap. I really loved this story. I wish there was more to it.
Author's Response: I am glad you loved it! I tried to make it emotional while keeping it Spikeish. I wish she did this in season 5 too. I think I might make a sequel sometime. People are suggesting one so I might do it when I finish some of my WIPs. Then you will know what happens when she is resurected and Spike knows how she felt for him before she died. *sob* I was almost afraid of reading this. So sad!Thanks for the warning, though. It was beautifully written. Poor Spike! At least he knows that Buffy loved him. I'd really love to read a sequel so they could have their happy ending. :)

Awww! Poor Spike :( This was lovely, you really captured Spike's emotions and I felt so bad for him at the end. I think this is my favourite fic of yours (not that I've read them all... haha bad me). Good work, keep writing! *hugs*

Yes, it's sad. But we know that Buffy came back.
I'm glad she could tell Spike this (what she wrote) in her letter. So maybe when she comes back things will be better for her and him.

Author's Response: I am glad you liked! I was nervous about this.. I had to have three different people tell me that its good to get me to post it lol. Ive been having troubles writting some stuff. Yeah, I was trying to look for a way to have only Dawn and Spike in the house and I thought it was perfect because the Scoobies do tend to ignore each other when they need each other the most.
