I followed your link and found these stories. Thought I'd start with the short one since it's so late. As for the story...lovely, just lovely. There's a certain "stream of consciousness" feel to the narrative that gives it even more impact. Love the ending! By all means keep writing, but as far as I'm concerned, this particular story is just right, as is.

Author's Response: Thank you! I haven't written anything else for it, and I kinda set it up as a one-shot type deal, but maybe if the muse kicks in I'll continue with it :)
