Title: Once upon a time
Awww. Didn't see it coming.
I liked that she was telling the story to the dog.
“Great.” she said, closing the door again. - This line made me giggle.
“Ants have monuments named after you because they think you’re a member of their kind.” - as did this one.
Sad that they're not together in the end, well, not really together. I loved Ladyhawke :)

Great idea! I love the punishment, but I can't bear to see Spike unhappy. The original fairy tales didn't all have happy endings, were gruesome, in fact, but I'm a sucker for the ones that do end happily. Sequel, please?

It's very original, if a little surprising, you should write a sequel. It's like a fairytale, and they always ending well, as you know, so...

Wow. Definitely unique Spuffy. So tragic. Just curious: were you watching Ladyhawke when you thought of this? LOL! Good story & good writing, nonetheless.
Author's Response: Do you know, I've actually never even heard of Lady Hawke before- this is a little bit strange. I think I shall have to rent this movie now :p

Yeah I loved it but its so sad. I mean I have actually seen Ladyhawke but I liked this too. I wish it ended well for them.

A lovely and a unexpected take on the movie, Ladyhawke... Just needed the happy ending to go with it, although this isn't awful! I liked it -- thanks!
