OMG! You are brilliant! I love this story! It has such richness and depth of character. Buffy and Spike's voices are so true, that it makes me tear up; I miss them so much. (Actually, all of the character voices are true, but I love Spike and Buffy the most!)
Please, please, please, I hope you write another chapter soon! *waiting with my heart on my sleeve*

*waves* Still reading, but a bit slower than I used too.
Spike’s plans never did go well in the end. True, so far.
*gg* @ He’d inadvertently dropped her. Poor Gina. ~ But the slayer's blood really helped Spike. Hope it will last him a while, helping him heal.
Mmmh seems that Spike doesn't need to be worried what Buffy will say (especially because she seems to have figured out what has happened. So hopefully things will get well.
Looking forward to the next part.

Almost missed the update! But only almost. Glad I'm not more behind.
With Buffy fighting her own way out the rescue mission of the slayers sounds as if it will be successful. But Dr. Berger is confusing Buffy / stopping her with her talk. Though her theory is interesting.
Uh-huh... I wasn't sure how far Spike would make it, how wounded he was. Clever thinking of Gina. With Spike healed he and the other slayers have a chance again to get out of there. *fingers crossed*
Looking forward to more!

Just read all 29 chaps. in one hit - a fantastic story, which deserves to be finished. You've created a different storyline, with absolutely spot-on characterisation - even that brief 'phone call between Buffy and Willow was just like following the TV script .....- and now I can't wait to read the rest. Hope that this comes quicker than the last update ...... thank you, a great read.
Author's Response: Sue, the best complement you could have ever given was that my characterizations were true! If I were interested in diverging from their true personalities, I would have written an original story instead of fan fic, but this was always about honoring Joss' wonderful universe, so I'm so pleased that you find the characters and dialogue convincing. (I'm especially happy with my Xander, who surprised me in being more loveable in this story - showing the best of the character as Joss wrote him.) And rest assured, I will be finishing this story and updating much sooner than last time! Thanks so much for reviewing. :-)

I just finished reading the whole thing after finding it again after a long hiatus. I guess I prefer to read all at once as opposed to catching up a little at a time. Love it, great storyline, great characterizations, great flow. I can see this one in a little movie in my head as I read.
Author's Response: I know what you mean. I used to never read WIPs. I love that you can see it as a little movie in your head because that's exactly the way I write. I watch the story in my mind's eye like a scene from the show - all the scenes I wish would happen - and then I just write what I see. Thanks so much for reviewing. :-)
