So I just found this story by pressing the 'random story'-button, and now I'm hooked on it! I see you haven't updated it since march, but I live in hope since it at least was march of this year. Is an update a possibility? I really, really hope so! Update? Please?
Author's Response: Well i am now back in the fanfic fold. I was away for awhile because there was a lot going on in my life. I'm posting a new one shot today, but I will be updating this shortly, thanks for your interest.

Poor Buffy! Great last line and I can't wait to read more, especially if Buffy decides to woo William! i can't help thinking, though, that maybe stopping William from becoming a vampire wasn't what she was sent back to do... and I'd love to see newly-vamped William deal with Buffy after he gets a crush on her! But maybe she'll be fighting off the Scourge of Europe to keep them from William for a bit longer. Either way sounds good and I can't wait for more!
Author's Response: I like your idea but just a warning that isn't where I'm going with this. They're going to stay human but the others may be showing up again *hint hint*. Keeping in mind that a big part of this is an excersize for Buffy in her spiritual guidance the importance is how she feels about Spike/William and what happens between them
