It was just perfect, as always. Now it makes me want to go back and read it all again from the beginning. I have not said this before, but I have to say it now. i love how you write Spike!! He is so full of love and feelings without becoming wimpy. He remains big, bad and amazingly sexy. He and Buffy like this, so in love, just melts me. Thank you so much for another lovely chapter in their story.

I don't know what to say... It just...yeah. It made me teary.
To be quite honest, the scene where we first learn about the ring was perfect just the way it was. The reading of the inscription at such an emotional moment in the story was beautiful. It gave us a little window that Buffy and Spike's bond was growing through little moments, as well as the major ones.
I just couldn't help but be a little wistful (and probably a lot selfish) that we didn't get to experience her getting the ring. So when you asked, I *had* to seize the opportunity. However, I didn't expect that actually having that scene would really enhance the poignancy of the original one.
I was wrong. It was totally worth it. Thank you, Nia.
