So glad they've crossed this one tiny bridge in their relationship. Many things left to figure out, and just because they are in love doesn't mean they are at all prepared to have a healthy relationship, but they seem ready to try. Perhaps the others will offer acceptance, perhaps not. I'm thrilled to know that there will be more to come! Amazing darkness and drama and I still wait for them to make it all the way through to the other side. Thanks for sharing!

It has been great to read this story. It has been dark and angsty but with some hope. How the characters think and deals with their situation was wellwritten and it end hopefully. Now I wait for the sequel.

I hadn't expected Spike's soul to be pulled back out of him coming through the portal, that's an interesting twist! Love Buffy's weary "we're in love, right?" As if she just needed to have her knowledge confirmed. Can't wait for the sequel....

Well, she's not quite back not normal, not that she ever will be, gonna need a new normal, I'd wager. But it's good that she's at least with people again. Avoiding them briefly is better than avoiding them long term. :) And her talk with Dawn may just be a beginning of many things to explain, but starting is always the hardest part. Great chapter. Poor Buffy and Spike, they are both in a dark state of mind. Well it was at least good that she didn't get the drugs. Xander and Willow is not to be trusted but it seems like she should be able to trust Giles.

Poor Buffy, being victimized by demons is one thing but having her confidence invaded is horrible by those who she thought she could trust. Obviously, Willow and Xander are immature in their hero worship of her and want her to be the epitomy of purity - which doesn't help her to adjust back to her surroundings at all. The episode of where she uses her body as currency for her drug fix to cope with pressures show that she is vulnerable mentally and has yet to deal with what happened to her. Not sure if she should tell Giles of what happened to her, it would be like telling her father of her life in the brothel. Look forward to more.

Poor Spike & poor Buffy, each of them suffering without the other. Typical of Xander & Willow to break Buffy's confidence 'for her own good' in an attempt to help. Probably just as well that Giles knows though, as he seems to be the only one who is making any real effort to understand.

A very interesting theory indeed, even though it has been determined on the other side that he still loves her whether he wants to or not. Broken girl just doesn't see through him as well as she used to. Glad that Giles is helpful, in a reasonable, adult way. One can only hope that the others come around and Spike can be brought back safely to her. Cause I can't say for sure that she's gonna make it without him. Please, update soon... er, on the 18th-ish like you said. :)

The Buffy situation is so wellwritten. How she thinks and reacts, she realizes that she can't fit into her old life she's different now. Willow is trying to help her but she can't really understand Buffys situation.

Spike has managed to have an advantage - good for him! Buffy being reminded of what she had to endure to survive is bad enough without her being reminded with harsh insults. Glad she killed the bug.

Almost too easy. Seems like we've got a bunch of good plans in the works, just don't know how it will all pan out until we actually get there. Hope they can squash the bad guy in the process. Tricky thing about deals with the devil. Love the drama, glad that Willow is being a good friend and that Buffy is letting her try. Update soon!
