pj! I remember wishing one of your stories would be finished seriously about a decade ago. Amazing. I just tried an old password I used to use and amazingly got in too. Memories!

*screams into pillow* I hope you put the two of them out of their misery and make them kiss and make up because its reminding me of my ex and myself.

Well liked the first chapter but the second one feels really wrong. I could understand unsouled Spike going back but the souled version would not go where he isn't wanted especially by Buffy. He does not see rejection as a way of showing love or affection like unsouled Spike seemed to do.

I mean even Spike must have a breaking point at which he just gives up and moves on. No love can stand an infinite amount of beating before it dies. As much and as hard as he loves I think just as quickly it would be over once he's had one too many rejections.

Spike's no prize. She isn't either. Which is why they deserve each other. But if better, she means Immortal Eurotrash. Um, okay then.

Seems like Buffy and Spike have regressed to their pre-S7 personas. Nice, in that it's like season six all over again -- at first they were getting along, and then bam, back to hurling insults.

Excellent dialogue in this. They're both defensive and talking at cross purposes, but you kept the story moving and the tension was high. I liked how you never exposed what Spike was feeling, just Buffy's emotional turmoil. I hope you continue this, so I can find out what Buffy means by that last line.

Author's Response: Thank you! :) Hopefully I'll have an update soon...
