this is sooo sweet and cute. Love that not so angsty-ness of this, yet it still had some of Buffy's conflicting thoughts. very hot.
Author's Response: Thank you. I wanted it to be all loving and caring but somehow Buffy just can't be entirely happy. I can't seem to write her as completely sorted out emotionally - but then again, is anybody? Glad you enjoyed and thanks.

sweet, tender and loving spike. well... we all know he can be that way... best present he could get, a sweet, tender and loving buffy... maybe it was his birthday, huh?
loved buffy and dawn bonding... i always though that in the show dawn was way to childish (usually i use stronger words... lol). here she is supportive of her sister... totally liked that!
Author's Response: Hee! Yeah, I think you're right - they both got a present. I'm so glad you enjoyed it - and I'm especially pleased you've mentioned Buffy and Dawn bonding. I'm a huge fan of Buffy and Dawn being proper sisters and I love writing Dawn not as the traditional whiner you often see but as a loving and supportive sister to her very special sibling.
