Wellll, if that wasn't intense, I don't know what is lol
I really enjoyed this, I thought it was Drusilla, making him feel worthless and then Buffy at the end, loving him and he turned her for the character death, but nope! You surprised me! I really enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing! You should get more reviews!

Wow this was really good, and heartvreaking and depressing. In a way I could see this happening and I think it was very good how you wrote it.

Bitch had it coming. I'm glad Spike killed Buffy. Buffy was just being a cruel bitch. She forgot who she was talking down to. Spike is a master vampire. He isn't so worthless now. Is he Buffy. He killed your cruel ass. He deserves the respect of the slayer. Especially Spike since he is the slayer of slayers. I would have liked it more if Spike killed Buffy and then turned evil again and kill her friends as well. The only ones that I wouldn't want to see die is Anya, Dawn, and Tara. They treated Spike with respect. Maybe Willow. I don't think Willow every treated Spike that bad. Didn't like the story but didn't dislike it. So glad that Spike killed Buffy just didn't like that he killed himself as well. Not my beloved it Spike.
Author's Response: Mhm, I was really intrigued by your review. Though I agree with your assessment that Buffy "had it coming", I do think that in the end, he had been so changed by his love for her, that he could not possibly return to his former self without considering her judgment of that choice. She was his everything and since she was gone, what did he have to live for? I'm certainly not saying I agree with his choices and his lack of self-worth (especially throughout season 6) but realistically speaking, that is what is is. =( . I do have to disagree with you on your judgment of Willow; she, like Xander, disapproved of Buffy's sexual relationship, though Buffy was completely open to the idea of her being homosexual. I completely understand how you did/didn't like the story, as it was quite iffy. But, suicide was a critical portion of the story that needed to occur, or else the whole point of the story would be virtually gone. I'm sorry if that affected you as a Spike fan, I truly am. But, I am very glad you decided to give this fic a chance and left a review. Thank you.

I am always up for a different take on these characters.
Let me start by saying, I read your author notes as well as the other review before I started (I do that ). I also believe Spike could very easily crossed that line and done this. His character, was passionate and quick temper and loved with every fiber of his being.
This shortie was sad, but I for one, am glad I read it. Thanks for sharing.

Methinks the reason there was a lack of review on EF was that this..? your ficlet here, was a bit too real. (I, for one wouldn't have been at all suprised if this was how it had gone, in the canon!) That said, you absolutely captured Spike's anguish. Rejection, like Passion, can beak anyone.
Basically, you hit us fan fic readers harder than we expected. That "silence" if you will..? is hushed awe. Bask in it.
