Love the story. I actually like pretty much all of your stories posted here. But just once I would love for Buffy to smakc Xander. He deserves it and just a nice slap that sends him across the room I would love to see that.
Anyway thx for posting your wonderful stories I love Spuffy stories and yours are great.
Author's Response: I did have her knock him across the room in 'Awakenings' and he gets kicked around a lot in 'Running Wild', though not by her. The trouble is, people get mad when I do that. :D I had someone call me a lousy writer because of what I did to him throughout 'Running Wild'.

This has everything, made me laugh, made me cry, made me wish this had happened on telly. A really good twist on events of series 4. I wonder how this would effect events in series 5....
Author's Response: Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! Thank you! In S5, I think what would have happened is that Spike would have bribed some demons to kill Ben, thus removing Glory from existence. (He couldn't do it himself as I had him do at the end of 'Running Wild', since the chip is still in place) With Glory out of the way, Buffy wouldn't have to die and be resurrected and so there wouldn't have been a First Evil. Regan, being a powerful Wicca, could remove the chip, setting Spike free, and she would also certainly teach Willow not to misuse her powers. Everything would change for the better.

Love this! Very realistic from the plot development to the motivations of the characters. This is a great read.
Author's Response: James does that sideways look on the show, with Dru, with Buffy, and it turns me on every time. :D I just had to write it in.

Wonderful first chapter - I'm loving this. Nice to see her bad behavior being addressed. Great discriptives & emotional content. And your characterizations are spot-on as usual, even Andrew :) I'm delighted to have discovered your work - yay for new fic!

I just read the entire story and i absolutely loved it. I usually don't like time travel stories ,but this one really worked great. The ending ,with the poof was priceless, i laffed my head off. Love yur fics, write another soon.

Read this all in one go and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed it. I love Evil!Spike getting won over by back from the future Buffy, and you did an excellent job making it work here. Your Buffy was centered and pragmatic, not allowing the influence of the gang to sway her from her self appointed mission. I really liked her gathering the demon community to take out The Initiative.
Your Evil!Spike was well drawn, and I enjoyed his journey from incredulous attraction to lover to loved one. Angel's guest appearances were stellar, too. It was all very entertaining.
You built the heat between her and Spike believably, and just giving in to their attraction made sense. The inadvertent claim was lovely, and opened the two of them up to falling in love.

Loved the story. Great resolution to all the previous issues. I loved seeing Spike's transformation and adaption to the new twist on situations in this story. It was great to see your new spin on things. Who knew that a new reality could be so good that I wouldn't even miss ' something blue' ?! Thanks.

Dear Dreamweaver; I have read all of the stories you have here, and I have to say I absolutely adore this one the best! I always read your stories when I find them. .....................You write with such emotion, and the Buffy/Spike dynamic that you "weave"(::)) between these two characters is a lovely thing to read................I guess you could say a person can savour your stories; there's so much feeling there; you have a gift for evoking an affinity for these two characters in the wonderful tales you tell. ..................The dialogue is tight and believable, it has a natural flow to it, and the love scenes are smokin' hot girl!!! But it's more than that also because you can feel the emotion behind it.......it's not just two bodies slamming together.................As I said before, just lovely. ................Now go write something else so I can read that too.::))
Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much for liking my work! I'm still learning so that's wonderful to hear! The affinity is what matters. Without the emotion, the love scenes would be just nothing. The emotions between them are what make it intense. I'm already working on the next one and having fun with a 'Harsh Light of Day' Spike.

That was fun and kinda romantic - i liked the idea that Buffy had to learn to be willing to sacrifice her happiness this time around. The process of discovering their claim and their feelings was very sexy and heartfelt.
