Would 've loved to have seen that last chapter or so fleshed out a little bit more, but loving what we got!
And please, contine the adventures of these two!

Years ago, when I was a girl, I used to love buying the Superman or Lois Lane "80 Page Giants" issues, which hosted many stories, and fairly often the ploy of "What If" stories, such as..."what if S'man and LL got married and she was killed..."; very often the alternate universe concept was used to tell the tale and bring some joy to ol' S'man or vice versa....these used to be huge favorites of mine. Of course back then we were comforted that the Big Producers or Editors in Chiefs would NEVER be insane enough to kill of the MAIN characters!!! Ah, where did those days of comfort go? And they wonder why we all now languish in the comforting peaceful arms of fanfic???

Awesome! I'm so ready for the sequel. So many questions but I'm sure you'll answer them. I really like the new Spike and the idea of a virgin Spilke--So hot! I must say that I miss my cock-sure Spike. But in absence of a Spike I'm like Buffy, any Spike'll do. Thanks for writing.

i knew it! there were so many questions that needed answers for one chapter... i'll never forgive you! well, at least not until i see the first chat of the sequel, anyway... lol
i loved the runaway trio, the awkward scene between buffy & willow and how spike tried to stand up for their friendship (even if he didn't know it first hand... give it to any spike to be smart and sensible enough to understand it through a journal!). Maybe willow's change of mind was a little abrupt... but the first kiss scene was... wow! :D it was touching... especially the line about how is difficult for a vampire to believe being wanted and loved... this reminds me of another time, another spike...

i'm really curious about the ending, 'cos this fic is so original that when i try guessing i come up with nothing... And this spike... so different and yet so similar. Their past wasn't the same, yet they love her and have the same 'beneath her' feeling... Im really waiting for his secrets to be revealed... but i do miss the other spike, you know...

Aw, poor shaggy haired Spike. All rhis seems to be leading to a crisis on many fronts, but I'm relieved that Buffy chose to be honest with him about why she spared him and cared for him. Otherwise the fallout could be a hundred times worse.
I do hope the wetworks team is called off, or that Buffy gives them a righteous ass kixking. Is it wrong of me that I'm relishing the prospect of Willow's impending thwapping with the clue stick?
