Charlotte is well drawn and her hungry pursuit of Angel was very entertaining. The fight was vivid and intense. I wonder if she's going to end up chained up right next to Spike.
I'm really enjoying this detailed, entertaining story.

Ethan's machinations are chilling. What is he hoping to gain through Charlotte? I'm enjoying your Giles. His affection for Buffy is lovely, and I like how it's informing his reaction to Spike. Spike following through with a mystical protection piece for Buffy is also clever. Why didn't it protect her here?

So Angelus caught Charlotte. I really hope that's a good thing because Charlotte is weak now. But that doesn't mean that she is beaten....

Thanks for the quick update :)
Hard for Buffy to cope but understandable. So 'heavy' things happened to her and yet her thoughts go to the unguarded hellmouth. Even not being the slayer she is one.
I hope Spike will come back (and that that will make things a bit easier for her).

Sadly the spell works... and not only for Buffy. Not sure now if Buffy is fully under it or if the amulet protects her a bit. Arrgh.. if she had worn it.

Ooh! I don't know how I've missed this sequel until now, but I'm so glad I found it. How come you haven't updated for a couple of months?
So... why has Angel left Spike unattended for so long? And who is Charlotte and why is she pretending to be a Slayer? Just as well Buffy has the anti-magic pendant with Ethan around... Is she going to be looking for Spike now? So many questions....

Good to see Buffy is missing Spike; seems Spike worried in vain thinking she moved on with Riley so quickly. Buffy Spike missed the delivery... Buffy really treasure it. Maybe even more because of the thought it was sent in (why Spike got it for her, to protect her).
