pj! I remember wishing one of your stories would be finished seriously about a decade ago. Amazing. I just tried an old password I used to use and amazingly got in too. Memories!

Reviews For My Iron Lung
Reviewer: cordykitten Signed Date: 05/16/2008 - 05:16 pm Title: Normal

I like the start; Buffy was on a roller coaster, going through the motions. And Buffy's connection with Spike.
Looking forward to more.

This is off to a brilliant start. I really like the train of memory that starts up with Buffy's thoughts of Prague.

I'm liking this. It's quite different. Unique plot line. The brief look back at Prauge, the spark touching off the memory, the reality that yes, Buffy would be slow to come around to her grief. I'm not one who is afraid of angst in a well told tale I think this one bears following. One thing though, why the title? I almost didn't click on it because the title seemed... very unpleasant. I know the fic will be dark but yes, the title is too. and that may scare some away. Just curious.

Author's Response: Sandara, Thanks for the review! And the title is actually from a Radiohead song (one of my favorites) and I wasn't aware that it was....somewhat unappealing. The song actually really reminded me of Buffy and Spike because it's about how the "iron lung" is the one thing that keeps a person going when they feel like they're going under. I consider Spike to be Buffy's iron lung, one who despite his absence, propels Buffy to move on....until he comes back that is. Thanks again for the feedback, tho!
