So sad. I knew Spike was going to show up, but I'd forgotten or missed the 'broken group' part of your summary (I have a horrible habit of tabbing things open to read later and coming back days later...) so I was surprised and touched when Willow arrived. Very moving story.
Loved Giles' entrance too.
“How many times-” asks a clipped, English accent, “Have I asked you not to call me G-Man?” ---haha

Ohh! I just can't stop crying... this was a beautiful piece... it was so sad. Still can't stop crying. *weak laugh* You captured the deaths and the disater perfectly, I loved it so much. Amazing job.

oh my fucken god, this brought me to tears and that takes quite a bit. I love the way it was written, how it was mostly stand alone style with interruptions every here and there bringing even more beauty to it. This has truly touched me and thank you for sharing it!!!

Who knew a geography lesson could lead to something so sad? ;-) But it was really, really good too...it fit well with all of them...loved the Spuffyness, too
Author's Response: I know- all the blame should be laid upon my geography teacher [plus, lets not be expecting good results in the exam since I spent the whole lesson thinking 'how can I make this spuffy?' rather than 'I should be remembering this for the exam'- tee hee!]

It took me a few minutes of just sitting with my reaction to this piece to be able to type a review...that in itself has to tell you something, lol. Such gorgeous imagery of that final dawn and I loved Spike as a silent witness to the scene of their demise as the sun rose. All in all it was both moving and poignant in its simple beauty. Well done!
