I like the start. (You could make more space in a conversation, not all in one paragraph, better to read.
Joyce took care to find new places for Buffy (for the painting/poetry). Should make it easier for Buffy then.
Wow... with that short notices it was sure better so do that. Well at last Buffy enjoyed her last hours with her friends :))
