Buffy is so torn, she doesn't know what she really wants. Or she doesn'T want to say it aloud, or can't yet. ~ And Spike would do nothing if he had the chance; especially not going up to see the doctor. He was so against it.. but after thinking about Drusilla first and then Buffy he doesn't seem to be so much against it like he first said. ~ Enjoyed the chapter :)

Quite a bit they can do to treat scars, nowadays, though nothing comes quick. Certain lasers can flatten the appearance and return some normal color.

Thanks for the clarification. I checked the end of your other story out first and decided I couldn't read it. A little warning is always good, is needed (my opinion). I don't like character death and at the moment I don't feel like I want (can) read them.) ~ To your story:
The next day.. The scene with Connor was fun. I wonder what they'll both do now when it's evening again. Seems as if both had an unspoken appointment (date) and where both there, waiting for the other. Buffy getting emotional? I wonder how Spike will take it. Buffy is already in love with him but is he? Looking forward to find out / read more :)

Wow. Truly intriguing... Is there more to this? It's incredibly touching, to think of Buffy being the only one still able to love him. And Spike's vulnerability is somehow endearing.

I was a bit shocked at the negative end but after that, I thought what great potential lies in this start. It sort of reminds me of one of the best stories I ever read, Summer Son, which is unfinished, sadly, but the direction is similar. You´ve got yourself the start of something special, go for it!!!
