Time travel was never more mysterious, an enthralling chapter. I particularly liked Spike's conversation with Giles, in fact it's a fabulous Spike all round. I love it.

Nope, I don't need to read spoilers in your answer to my comments, I just ramble away what I think :)
So the diary was really important. Giles knows more already. Even if Spike doesn't want to hear it I hope he won't forget what Giles told him (that Buffy loved him).
Ah.. it was Buffy that wrote in the diary, not the other girl Behnri tried to save.
Enjoyed the update. (And I really love the way you write Spike here.)

That's right, good for Spike to know too that Buffy will be alive at one point because he misses her so much.
Oh Buffy's 'secret'... is that she fell in love with Spike?
Yeah... I hope that will make things better for Buffy, that some things changed for good for her when she is brought back.

The time jumps taking it's toll on Spike, that's not good. Hope that it will go well for Spike.
Maybe wanting to tell everything sent Spike on his journey again? At last it functions, it is Buffy that can call him. But we are in Spike's future now.
I wonder what will happen now, where or when Spike will jump to.
Author's Response: I think it's important that it IS Buffy that calls him - that he's not like time stalking her :)

I'm getting just a tad confused now. If Buffy's in season 6 and 'our' Spike is from season 5, how come 'other' Spike didn't get the ring thingy and hence know all about what's going on? Oh, and I'm getting worried about Spike's deteriorating condition...

Love it. You're keeping events as canon (so far) and just allowing Spike to influence her slightly towards the way things go. But will it remain that way after The Kiss?....

With the site being back I can now delete my LJ memories :)
Bad me I forgot of QL (what Blackoberst mentioned).
And even Spike has no influence to where he is going *wonders if it is Buffy like Spike thought* he is going forward at last. No he isn't. My bad (Riley got me confused, he happened after Angel).
Mmmmh to tell now-Spike or not... if she did she could at last to someone about what happens.
Enjoyed the update, looking forward to more.

I really wanna know where he lands next. This reminds me of "Quantum Leap" with Spike as Beckett. Only without Al or Ziggy. Just Buffy, but for Spike there's nothing better.

This is really good. You write Buffy and Spike very well. I like their conversations - Buffy seems to be warming up to Spike.
