Title: Chapter 38 & Epilogue
Cute story. Dont live how much of a victim Buffy was, and there are a ton of mistakes (needs a skilled beta to help fix stuff and polish the writing) but there are a lot of plot ideas here. Spike sure is sweet.

Author's Response: I just marked it finished! I didn't realize you could do that and just how to do it. Thanks for the suggestion. I know I myself have a habit of choosing finished only stories when I'm in certain moods and unfinished when I see it's actively updated! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Ah I wondered if Joyce would be at the wedding. So she didn't now that Buffy ran away. But she (Joyce) let herself easily believe that Buffy was with her father... too bad she never doubted Hank.
Author's Response: I think Joyce was just really blinded by love for Hank. She probably felt guilty and wanted what was best for her daughter. I'm sure she is really glad to have Buffy back in her life though. She lost all those years though with Buffy. It really was a shame she had to lose her daughter growing up.

Seems as if justice has won (I just hope Angel will never never get out of jail - or have the opportunity to get away). It was tough (hard) for Buffy to be a witness in court but she managed well.
(PS - you didn't close the center tag after "Ch. 36")

*nods* In a way Hank would pay for what he did to Buffy / what it did cost her. Nice revenge in a way / making up for it. Though I could have understand if she wouldn't wanted his money at all.
Good to see the police still works on Angel's case and is getting closer; would be a shame if he would be able to get away with what he did.
Author's Response: Yea I could see why she wouldn't want the money either but I think it was also a way for her to have closure. She had to give up her life and it was the least Buffy could get in return.
Yea we get to see in the next chapter what the police have been able to do so far.

Oh right, they didn't went back to Angel's. I hope Buffy didn't leave important things like a passport. Clothes can be replace.
AWE :D Sound as if at last life means it good with Buffy aka William will take care of her now :) Well I know she can stand on her own feet but some things are easier to bear when you have a partner, a family.
Author's Response: I don't think Buffy had a passport because the girl left home so early that she didn't even have a driver's license to even get one yet. Poor girl has been kind of sheltered for all that kind of things. At least she didn't have a need to leave the country! I'm glad William was so dedicated and willing to take care of Buffy too. Best not start thinking what they have all missed and what Buffy went through because she thought William wanted to break up with her....

OH! One more thing...the title on this chapter is "Prologue & Chapter 1". Somehow I don't think that's right...lol...anywho...like I said..loved it!

Luckily Buffy isn't blind regarding Angel and believes what Spike found out. And like I thought he isn't pleased that Buffy got involved with Angel.
