Angel clenched his jaw. “Let me repeat myself just so we’re clear. I. Am. Not. Spike’s. Keeper. I don’t pass notes for him during study hall. I don’t send out ‘Welcome Back’ party invites to all his friends. I have more important things to worry about than Spike like oh say, stopping the world from ending. Oh yeah, and eradicating evil.” Angel punched the air with his fists. “So sorry if my priorities inconvenienced you. Wait, no. I’m not sorry. ‘Cause the only person who needed to tell you anything was Spike. Go be angry at him."
A brilliant rant by Angel. Love imagining him passing notes in study hall. :) And Spike and Buffy were just so sweet together.

So very amazing how Buffy can start by being jealous of her doppleganger and then realize how tragic it is that she doesn't get to be the person she once was any more. Perhaps that is worse than having all of Buffy's real responsibilities. Sure does make you think.

“Sure! I just need to get dressed and do my hair.” The cheerfulness in Buffy’s voice carried over the sound of the water falling in the shower.
Love the weirdness that is their lives. And Connor all skwicked out over his enhanced sense of smell. And I love the way Spike was able to make that trollop talk. Loving the story. Please, update soon!

Oh wow!
I just wanted to say that the reunion with Buffy and Spike was written beautifully. I always hated the thought of her being with The Immortal. Ugh!
I hope Giles gets what's coming to him for being so ... so ... him. I hate people who meddle. Grrr.

This is a great story. I beleive this might be the first time anyone has written such a lovely first time meeting up again between Buffy and Spike. It brought tears to my eyes. Very poignant !

Giles is still being a controlling idiot - shame on him!
I saw the Angel episode where they see Buffy with the Immortal, gotta say I was SO angry with her. It wan't until much later that I heard that the young woman was a decoy, not the real thing; made me feel a lot better.
It will be interesting to see what you have coming up next; looking forward to it.
